Peptoclostridium is a genus in family of Peptostreptococcaceae.
Before assigned to the genus as currently defined, the name was previously proposed in 2013 as a novel genus hosting C. difficile as Peptoclostridium difficile, before that species was validly moved to the related genus Clostridioides in 2016. [2]
In taxonomy, Haloferax is a genus of the Haloferacaceae.
In taxonomy, Natronobacterium is a genus of the Natrialbaceae. A member of the domain Archaea, it is both an extreme halophile and alkaliphile, thriving at an optimum saline concentration of 20% and optimum pH of 10.
Filifactor, is a genus of bacteria in the family Peptostreptococcaceae.
Intestinibacter bartlettii is a species of bacteria belonging to the family Clostridiaceae and the only described species in the genus Intestinibacter.
Syntrophospora bryantii is a species of bacteria belonging to the family Syntrophomonadaceae. It is the only described species in the genus Syntrophospora and has been proposed to be a part of the genus Syntrophomonas instead.
Enterocloster is a genus of anaerobic bacteria. Many species in Enterocloster were historically ordered in the genus Clostridium before advances in phylogenetics supported formation of a new genus.
Gottschalkia is a genus of bacteria in the order Tissierellales. The genus was first described from two species previously placed in the genus Clostridium.
Lacrimispora is a genus of bacteria in the family Lachnospiraceae
Thermoclostridium is a genus of anaerobic bacteria. Many species in Thermoclostridium were historically ordered in the genus Clostridium.
Blautia is a genus of anaerobic bacteria. Upon introduction, this genus mostly consisted of species previously described in the genus Ruminococcus.
Paludicola psychrotolerans is a bacterium of the monotypic genus Paludicola in the family Oscillospiraceae.
Natranaerofaba is a monotypic genus in the monotypic family of Natranaerofabaceae. The only described species is Natranaerofaba carboxydovora.
Criibacterium is a monotypic genus of bacteria in the family Peptostreptococcaceae. The only described species is Criibacterium bergeronii.
Fusibacter paucivorans is a thiosulfate-reducing bacterium from the family Peptostreptococcaceae. It is the most studied species of the genus Fusibacter, isolated from oil-producing wells.
Peptacetobacter is a genus of bacteria in the family Peptostreptococcaceae.
Peptoanaerobacter is a monotypic genus of bacteria in the family Peptostreptococcaceae. The only described species is Peptoanaerobacter stomatis.
Peptoclostridium litorale, previously known as Clostridium litorale, is a bacterium belonging to the family Peptostreptococcaceae.
