Phineas and Ferb is the first soundtrack album for the Disney Channel television series, Phineas and Ferb , which was released September 22, 2009 in the United States by Disney Channel Records, Walt Disney Records and Hollywood Records. The album contains 26 songs from season one. [1] It also contains the bonus track "The F-Games" that can only be heard online.

As of March 6, 2010, the soundtrack had sold about 122,600 copies in the United States.

Background

The artists on the soundtrack all are in Phineas and Ferb except for Bowling for Soup who performs the theme tune for the series. The song "Gitchee Gitchee Goo" performed by Vincent Martella, Hayden Panettiere and Ashley Tisdale featured in the episode "Flop Starz", was also included in the 2009 album Disney Channel Playlist . Release

The original report cited that the initial February 10, 2009 release date had been pushed back to August 4. [3] On June 26, 2009 the release date was pushed back to September 22, 2009. [4] Later this has been confirmed on the official website. [5] The soundtrack was released in the United Kingdom on October 10, 2009 via EMI Music. [6]

Phineas and Ferb is an American animated musical-comedy television series created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh that aired on Disney Channel and Disney XD for four seasons between 2007 and 2015. The series follows stepbrothers Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher during summer vacation. Every day, the boys undertake the construction of a grand project, or embark on a spectacular adventure, to make the most of their time on vacation. This annoys their controlling older sister, Candace, who frequently tries to expose their schemes to her and Phineas's mother. The series follows a standard plot system; running gags occur in every episode.

Ferbs "Ferb" Fletcher is one of the main characters in the animated television series Phineas and Ferb. He is voiced by British actor Thomas Sangster during the first four seasons of Phineas and Ferb and American actor David Errigo Jr. in future seasons as well as in Milo Murphy's Law and Candace Against the Universe. His singing voice is provided by series music composer Danny Jacob. Ferb was born on February 29.

"Flop Starz" is the third broadcast episode of the American animated television series Phineas and Ferb.1 The episode was originally broadcast on Disney Channel on February 1, 2008. In the episode, Phineas and Ferb become one-hit wonders in a morning, much to the disappointment of their sister Candace, who is trying out for the talent show The Next American Pop Teen Idol Star! Meanwhile, Doofenshmirtz converts his building into a giant robot to aid him in his attempt to conquer the Tri-State Area.

"He Could Be the One" is a pop song by American recording artist and actress Miley Cyrus, performing as Hannah Montana – the alter ego of Miley Stewart – a character she played on the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana. Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension is a 2011 American animated science fantasy action-adventure comedy-drama television film based on the American animated TV series Phineas and Ferb. The film premiered on August 5, 2011 in the United States. It was first announced by Jeff "Swampy" Marsh during a January 2010 interview with the Daily Telegraph. The events of the film take place during the third season of Phineas and Ferb. It is the first feature-length film of the Phineas and Ferb series, and the third animated Disney Channel Original Movie, following Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama and The Proud Family Movie.

Aaron Daniel Jacob is an American composer, songwriter and guitarist. His credits include composing the score for the television series Phineas and Ferb, and co-producing the music for the series Sofia The First. He is a three-time Emmy-nominated composer. He also wrote the theme songs for Lilo & Stitch: The Series, The Emperor's New School, Kim Possible, Sonny With A Chance, and Jackie Chan Adventures. As a featured guitarist, Jacob has performed on Shrek, the Bette Midler HBO concert Diva Las Vegas, and on Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin's "Heaven Help Us".

Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension is a video game based on the TV movie of the same name and the first multi-platform game in the Phineas and Ferb video game series. The album was released by Walt Disney Records and Hollywood Records on August 4, 2011 and featured eight original songs written for the film and fourteen songs from the second season of the show. Most of them were performed by the cast members. In addition, the album featured Guns N' Roses' lead guitarist Slash performing the track "Kick It Up a Notch" with the cast. Slash further appeared in an animated version of himself in the film, with a music video featuring the animated performance of the song was released on July 20.

The film is based on the Disney Channel and Disney XD animated television series Phineas and Ferb created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, the second feature-length film of the Phineas and Ferb series, and a standalone sequel to Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension (2011). The album featured several original songs performed by the cast members, and few tracks from the original score composed by Danny Jacob.
