Pimpalation is the second studio album by American rapper Pimp C from UGK. It was released on July 11, 2006, by Rap-A-Lot, Asylum, and Atlantic Records, making it the rapper's last solo album to be released during his lifetime. Recording sessions took place at Dean's List House of Hits, at M.A.D. Studios and Studio 7303 in Houston and at PatchWerk Recording Studios in Atlanta. Production was handled by several record producers, including Mr. Lee, Mike Dean, Jazze Pha and Mannie Fresh. The chopped and screwed version of the album was mixed by DJ Michael "5000" Watts. The album features a large number of guest performers, such as 8Ball & MJG, ABN, Ali & Gipp, Big Mike, Bun B, Chamillionaire, J. Prince, Lil' Boosie, Lil' Keke, Mike Jones, Scarface, Slim Thug, Tela, Webbie, and Willie D among others.

The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, selling 87,288 copies in its first week of release in the United States, it charted at number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and the Top Rap Albums charts. [6] As of March 8, 2007, the album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling 500,000 copies in the United States.

The album spawned three singles: "I'm Free", "Pourin' Up", and "Knockin' Doorz Down".

The DVD, titled Pimpalation: Return of the Trill, was released on April 11, 2006, shows Pimp C celebrating his release from prison on December 30, 2005; as well as in the recording studio, working on music with a host of stars, including Scarface, Z-Ro, Webbie, Bun B, Lil' Flip, and Young Jeezy, although the latter of the two didn't appear on the album.

His songs "Bad Bitch" and "Swerve" were featured on Gangsta Musik, his 2003 group album with Lil Boosie, and in the 2005 movie Hustle & Flow. Webbie's second album, Savage Life 2, was released in early 2008 with the hit single "Independent" featuring Lil Boosie and Lil Phat.

"Wipe Me Down" is a song by American rapper Foxx, included as a song on the Trill Entertainment compilation album Trill Entertainment Presents: Survival of the Fittest (2007). The song's backing track was composed by American record producer Mouse On Tha Track. A remixed version, featuring additional vocals from fellow rappers Lil Boosie and Webbie, was released as a single in 2007, with Lil Boosie listed as the lead artist. There is another remixed version featuring UGK, Foxx has different vocals than the other remix version along with vocals from Pimp C & Bun B.

"I Miss You" is a R&B/hip hop song written by Webbie, Mouse and Mannie Fresh for Webbie's second studio album, Savage Life 2 (2008). The song samples Diana Ross' "Missing You", and features LeToya Luckett. It was originally going to feature singer Kelis, but she was replaced for unknown reasons. While the song is about Webbie being on the road and looking forward to returning home to his woman, it is dedicated to Houston rappers that recently have died, mainly for UGK member Pimp C. The song was leaked to the internet on February 5, 2008, and was officially released on March 10, 2008.
