Plailly (French pronunciation: [plaji] ) is a commune in the Oise department of northern France.
It is best known as the home of the Parc Astérix theme park, which opened on 30 April 1989.
Oise is a department in the north of France. It is named after the river Oise. Inhabitants of the department are called Oisiens or Isariens, after the Latin name for the river, Isara. It had a population of 829,419 in 2019.

Between 2019 and 2022, the coaster underwent a three-year renovation from The Gravity Group, eventually re-emerging as the Tonnerre 2 Zeus in 2022.

It features four launches with a top speed of 107 km/h (66 mph) and a 51-metre (167 ft) top hat. It is named after Toutatis, a Celtic god who features in the Asterix books.
