The Polish Cup (Polish : Puchar Polski) is the annual national ice hockey cup competition in Poland.
The Indianapolis Ice were a minor league professional ice hockey team based in Indianapolis, Indiana, that played in the International Hockey League from 1988 to 1999 and in the Central Hockey League from 1999 to 2004. Their original home arena was Fairgrounds Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, though they later moved to Market Square Arena. After Market Square Arena closed, the Ice played some games at the Conseco Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis. Their major rivals during the 1990s were the Fort Wayne Komets.

It is home to the Harvard University Crimson men's and women's ice hockey teams. It is named for Alec Bright, class of 1919, a former hockey player, and C. Kevin Landry, class of 1966, a donor to the Harvard athletic department.
IJshockey Nederland (IJNL) is the official governing body of ice hockey in the Netherlands. It was founded as the Nederlandse IJshockey Bond in 1933 as a three team league with The Hague, Amsterdam and Tilburg. It joined the International Ice Hockey Federation on 20 January, 1935. In 1946, it created the Eredivisie. The organisation’s name was changed from NIJB to IJNL in 2017.

In 2013, it was reorganized as a limited liability company and renamed the Polska Hokej Liga. It follows a system of relegation to and promotion to/from the Polish 1. Liga.
Władysław Król was a Polish ice hockey and football player and coach. He played for ŁKS Łódź in both sports during his career. Internationally, he played four games for the Poland national football team, and with the Poland national ice hockey team at the 1936 Winter Olympics, as well as the 1938 World Championship. After his playing career, he turned to coaching, remaining with the ŁKS Łódź football club, whom he managed at various times from 1939 until 1966.
