Poruba (Hungarian : Mohos) is a village in central Slovakia.
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1339.
The municipality lies at an altitude of 410 metres (1,350 ft) [2] and covers an area of 15.14 km2 (5.85 sq mi) (2024). [4] Poruba belongs to the Prievidza District of the Trenčín Region.
