P. Judson is an Indian entomologist, [8] who researched much on Dysdercus cingulatus in the 1970s. In the successive decades, [9] he took to teaching of Zoology [10] at Osmania University, Secunderabad, a State-run University u/s 2 (f) [11] of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. He contributed much to the discipline of Entomology [1] through scholarly articles in scientific journals (see section on writings). He was also a member of the Indian Society for Comparative Animal Physiology. [12]
Judson was Lecturer, Reader, [13] then Professor [2] and Head [14] and Chairperson of Board of Studies [15] of Department of Zoology [16] at Osmania University, [17] Secunderabad. Earlier in 1997, [18] he became Principal [19] of the University College of Science, [20] Saifabad. [21] During his tenure, a full-fledged vocational course in Dryland farming leading to B. Sc. (Dryland farming) [22] was launched in 2001 [22] with the cooperation of three external stakeholders, namely, International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) and Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU). [22]
Much like an Old Testament Scholar contributing to the German academic journal Zeitschrift für die Alttestamentliche Wissenschaft (ZAW), Judson and others, contributed a research article in 1978 [23] to the Leipzig-based academic journal, Zeitschrift für mikroskopisch-anatomische Forschung. [23]
Judson's articles co-authored with others appeared in major scientific journals. One of Judson's research articles published in 1978 [24] with B. Kishen Rao, S. S. Thakur and B. Juilus Divakar entitled The effects of a juvenile hormone analogue on the male reproductive organs of the red cotton bug, Dysdercus cingulatus (Heteroptera) appeared in the scientific journal Experientia (now Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences), [24]
He was much active among the academic fraternity in Hyderabad, India. In 2007, he co-organized a National Conference on Biodiversity Conversation and Human Wellbeing, which was conducted jointly by the Department of Zoology (OU) and Sálim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History. [25] In 2008, he co-edited a compendium titled Biodiversity Conservation and Human Well-Being. [26] In 2009, [14] Judson convened a national symposium on the theme Implications of climate change on mosquito-borne diseases and its impact on public health [14] at Sir Ronald Ross Institute of Parasitology. Judson is a communicant member [27] of Samavesam of Telugu Baptist Churches (STBC) and attached to the STBC-Baptist Church, Lallaguda, [27] Secunderabad. [28] He is also associated [29] with Training in Evangelism Needs and Technology (TENT), a brain child of the Geologist, B. E. Vijayam, [30] who set up such facility to promote means of livelihood with the inspiration being attributed [30] to Bishop Bunyan Joseph of the Church of South India, a rural Evangelist, Canon (priest) and later Bishop.[ citation needed ]
Judson was also involved in other initiatives relating to Interfaith dialogue [31] and Community development. He was on the Council [32] of the Henry Martyn Institute, Shivarampally for over [33] a decade. [34] Judson was on the Committee and later on the Council, which was led by Theologians comprising C. L. Furtado, P. Surya Prakash and others. [35] Judson came up on the Committee, especially at a crucial juncture, when the institute relocated to its new campus in Shivarampally from its earlier locality [36] in Abids. [37]
Judson is also on the Advisory Board of Genesis Urban and Rural Development [38] under whose aegis a National Conference on emerging challenges and opportunities in Agriculture, Social, Plant, Environment, Cooperatives and Technology was held in 2016. [39]
Efforts by the members of the STBC-Baptist Church, Lallaguda resulted in creation of a social action initiative which was named Burden and Love for Economically and Socially Suppressed (BLESS) [27] in which Judson has been active and presently holds the position of Secretary. [27] Through the Church, he has been actively involved in promoting [40] food security [41] among those marginalized [8] dry land farmers of Telangana through System of Rice Intensification [28] in a few [28] mandals of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district and Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
During the 2010s, he took up social action initiatives in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Odisha through the Canadian Baptist Ministries [42] in which he was a Field Staff [28] and Team member. [42] Judson is the present India representative [43] of European Baptist Mission International overseeing social action programmes [44] together with 16 partners in the country. [45]
Osmania University is a collegiate public state university located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Mir Osman Ali Khan, the 7th Nizam of Hyderabad, issued a firman calling for its creation on 29 August 1917. Pyrrhocoridae is a family of insects with more than 300 species world-wide. Many are red coloured and are known as red bugs and some species are called cotton stainers because their feeding activities leave an indelible yellow-brownish stain on cotton crops. A common species in parts of Europe is the firebug, and its genus name Pyrrhocoris and the family name are derived from the Greek roots for fire "pyrrho-" and bug "coris". Members of this family are often confused with, but can be quickly separated from, Lygaeidae by the lack of ocelli on the top of the head.

Bishop T. B. D. Prakasa Rao was the fourth CSI-Bishop - in - Krishna-Godavari of the Protestant Church of South India who occupied the Cathedra placed at CSI-St. Paul's Cathedral, Vijayawada. The Bishopric of Prakasa Rao lasted for two decades from 1981 through 2001, one of the longest in the history of the Church of South India Society. Prakasa Rao led the bishopric of Krishna-Godavari that comprised the Christian missions established by the London Missionary Society (LMS) and the Church Missionary Society (CMS) which merged its South India Christian missions in India into the Church of South India Society which was inaugurated in 1947 at the CSI-St. George's Cathedral, Madras.

STBC-Centenary Baptist Church Secunderabad is a Baptist Church in the city of Secunderabad, India which was established in 1875 by the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society (ABM) and was later led by the Samavesam of Telugu Baptist Churches (STBC) through the Deccan Association. STBC-Centenary Baptist Church has a current membership of more than 3000. The original older structure and a new centenary structure built in 1991 exist side by side in the same premises. Worship services are only held in the new sanctuary. The church conducts worship in Telugu, English, Hindi and Manipuri.

Acharya A. B. Masilamani or Abel Boanerges Masilamani (1914–1990) was a Golden Jubilee Baptist pastor and evangelist on whom parallels had been drawn comparing his ecclesiastical ministry with that of Saint Paul. The Mar Thoma Syrian Church, one of the Saint Thomas Christian Churches founded by Thomas the Apostle in the first century which holds the annual Maramon Conventions used to have Masilamani preach at its conventions since the 1970s. During one such Maramon Convention held in 1983 at Maramon, Masilamani was one of the main speaker who spoke on Christology in the presence of the two patriarchs of the Mar Thoma Church, Alexander Mar Thoma and Thomas Mar Athanius.

M. S. G. Lalitha Kumari a.k.a. Lalitha Krupa Rao was the eighth Principal of Eva Rose York Bible Training and Technical School for Women, Tuni. She held the term from 1993 through 2011. Lalitha was a theologically trained woman who also used to pastor a Church. With her ordination in 1992, she became the first Woman priest in the Protestant Convention of Baptist Churches of Northern Circars.

Vara Prasad is well versed in conducting Mass, following Presbyterian, Congregational and Anglican rites.
Nalla Thomas was an Asian Christian and a spiritual personality, who served the Church in Assam and undivided Andhra Pradesh for nearly four decades, spanning the 1970s to the early 2000s. He was known for composing hymns to enhance spiritual direction and devotion. Thomas also served as an Ecclesiastical administrator of the Samavesam of Telugu Baptist Churches Society.
Perupogu Joseph was a military chaplain in the Indian Army Corps of EME and a counselor who taught students in Serampore College, Serampore and Andhra Christian Theological College, Secunderabad.
