Pseudocayratia oligocarpa [2] is a species of Asian vine plants in the subfamily Vitoideae. This species, found from central-southern China to Vietnam, [3] was previously placed in the non-monophyletic genus Cayratia , but these genera are not dissimilar and are now placed in the tribe Cayratieae.

First discovered at Perledo on the Lake Como in 1830, it was named in 1847 by Curioni, its name meaning "Lizard from Larius", the ancient name of the lake. This makes it one of the earliest studied reptiles from the Alps. It is known from an almost complete skeleton holotype and several other fairly complete fossils.

Juglans sigillata, also called iron walnut, is the second most cultivated species of walnut tree after the Persian walnut Juglans regia. Commonly distributed in the eastern Himalayas and western China. The tree has been cultivated for its edible nuts, and there are at least 80 authorised or approved cultivars produced after successful implementation of grafting technology.

Afrocayratia debilis is a species of flowering plant in the grapevine family Vitaceae, native to equatorial Africa. It has herbaceous or slightly woody vines, with 5-foliate leaves and greenish-white to yellow flowers. Its stem, leaves, and sap are used in traditional medicine in various African countries, and the leaves are eaten as a vegetable on the island of Bioko. Its fruits are inedible, although they are fed to poultry in the Central African Republic to protect from influenza and coccidiosis.

As its name suggests, it was split from the previously configured genus Cayratia, which was found not be monophyletic: for example, Pseudocayratia oligocarpa, from central China to Vietnam, was distinct from Cayratia pedata. Species have been recorded from central-southern China, Japan, the Ryukyu Islands, Taiwan and Vietnam.

Villosocallerya bonatiana is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae, native to south-central and southeastern mainland China, Laos and Vietnam. It is the sole species in genus Villosocallerya. The species was first described in 1910 as Millettia bonatiana.

Afrocayratia is a genus of flowering plants in the grapevine family Vitaceae. Its species are found in tropical and southern Africa, Yemen, Mayotte, and Madagascar. It was split off from the non-monophyletic genus Cayratia in 2020.
