Pterygia sinensis is a species of small [5] sea snail, [5] [6] a gastropod mollusk in the family Mitridae, [4] [7] the miters or miter snails.

Shell length around 40 mm. [5]

Distribution

This species is seen around Japan [4] (south of Kii Peninsula [5] ), Taiwan [4] [1] (Tainan, Hsiao Liouciou Island and Penghu) and Mainland China [4] [8] [9] in West Pacific Ocean. [4]

Habitat in sand of depth 30–300 m. [5]
