Qarah Aghaj (Persian : قره اغاج‎, also Romanized as Qarah Āghāj and Qareh Āghāj; also known as Ghareh Aghaj, Karaagach, Qara Agāch, and Qareh Āqāch)^[1] is a village in Chelleh Khaneh Rural District, Sufian District, Shabestar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 470, in 118 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Chelleh Khaneh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Sufian District, Shabestar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,921, in 2,056 families. The rural district has 11 villages.

Sufian District is a district (bakhsh) in Shabestar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 38,767, in 10,043 families. The District has one city: Sufian.
