Reid Farm is a historic home and farm located near Jackson Hill, Davidson County, North Carolina. The main house is a two-story, four-bay, vernacular Greek Revival style farmhouse. Also on the property are a massive threshing barn and a full complement of log and frame outbuildings dating from the mid-19th through the early-20th centuries. [2] The buildings have been moved to Denton Farmpark. [3]

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. [1]

Horne Creek Farm is a historical farm near Pinnacle, Surry County, North Carolina. The farm is a North Carolina State Historic Site that belongs to the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, and it is operated to depict farm life in the northwest Piedmont area c. 1900. The historic site includes the late 19th century Hauser Farmhouse, which has been furnished to reflect the 1900-1910 era, along with other supporting structures. The farm raised animal breeds that were common in the early 20th century. The site also includes the Southern Heritage Apple Orchard, which preserves about 800 trees of about 400 heritage apple varieties. A visitor center includes exhibits, a gift shop and offices.

Bennett Place is a former farm and homestead in Durham, North Carolina, which was the site of the last surrender of a major Confederate army in the American Civil War, when Joseph E. Johnston surrendered to William T. Sherman. The first meeting saw Sherman agreeing to certain political demands by the Confederates, which were promptly rejected by the Union cabinet in Washington. Another meeting had to be held to agree on military terms only, in line with Robert E. Lee’s recent surrender to Ulysses S. Grant. This effectively ended the war.

Mount Ebal Methodist Protestant Church is a historic property of the Methodist Protestant Church located at the end of SR 2518 near Denton in Davidson County, North Carolina. It was built in 1883, and is a one-story, gabled frame building, 36 feet wide and 48 feet deep. The building rests on fieldstone piers. The building had ceased to be in regular use by about 1940, although an annual homecoming takes place in June each year.

Firleigh Farms is a historic equine and fox hunting estate located near Southern Pines, Moore County, North Carolina. Firleigh was built in 1923–1924, and is a two-story, Colonial Revival style frame dwelling. It consists of a five-bay main block and a two-story ell forming an "L"-shaped plan. It was built as a winter-season hunting box for Augustine Healy and his wife, Jeanette Reid Healy. Also on the property is a contributing three-vehicle garage/servants's quarters.

The Flyway Club is a historic shooting club at 221 Marsh Causeway in Knotts Island, North Carolina. Located on more than 400 acres (160 ha) facing Currituck Sound on the west side of Knotts Island, it is one of the oldest surviving fowl hunting clubs in the state. Its main lodge was built about 1920, and rebuilt in a near replica in 1960 after being destroyed by fire. The lodge also includes a large U-shaped farm building, also built about 1920, that housed the club staff and farming equipment. The club was established by Ogden Mills Reid, and remained in the Reid family until 2013, when it was acquired by the Conservation Fund.
