Rio Sports Club is a former first-class cricket team in Sri Lanka.
Rio competed in the Sri Lankan first-class competition in 1992-93 and 2001–02. They played 14 matches and lost all of them.
They continue to compete at sub-first-class levels.
The Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club is the governing body for cricket in the Sri Lankan Air Forces. Its representative team, Sri Lanka Air Force, competes in Sri Lanka's domestic competition, the Premier Trophy.
Cricket was introduced to Sri Lanka in the first quarter of the 19th century, following colonisation of the island by the British. The earliest known match was recorded in 1832 and the earliest first-class one in 1926. The national team has played Test cricket from 1982. The national team has achieved international success by winning the 1996 Cricket World Cup and the 2014 ICC World Twenty20. Cricket is played nationwide with Test venues in Colombo, Galle, Kandy and Moratuwa. The country's most notable players include Aravinda de Silva, Arjuna Ranatunga, Rangana Herath, Sanath Jayasuriya, Mahela Jayawardene, Muttiah Muralitharan, Kumar Sangakkara and Chaminda Vaas. Administration and governance are performed by Sri Lanka Cricket, which was founded in July 1922 as the Ceylon Cricket Association (CCA). The main domestic competition is the Premier Trophy which attained first-class status in 1988.
Tamil Union Cricket & Athletic Club is a first-class cricket team based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. They play their home games at P. Saravanamuttu Stadium.
Kalutara Town Club are a first-class cricket team based in Kalutara, Sri Lanka. They played one season of first-class cricket, in the 1996–97 Saravanamuttu Trophy. They had previously been the inaugural winner of the Daily News Trophy in 1938 in the days before it had first-class status. They currently play in Tier B of the Premier Trophy.
Thusara Prabath Kodikara is a former Sri Lankan international cricketer who represented the Malaysian national team between 2004 and 2009. He was born in Sri Lanka, and played first-class cricket there in the 1990s before emigrating to Malaysia. Kodikara played as an all-rounder, batting right-handed and bowling right-arm medium pace.
Badureliya Sports Club is a first-class cricket team in Sri Lanka. It plays its home matches at Surrey Village Cricket Ground, Maggona.
The Saracens Sports Club is a Sri Lankan first-class cricket team that competes in the Premier Trophy.
Sri Lanka Army Sports Club is a first-class cricket team in Sri Lanka. It has competed in the Premier Trophy since 2006–07.
Lankan Cricket Club is a first-class cricket team in Sri Lanka.
Singha Sports Club is a former first-class cricket team in Sri Lanka. The team played first-class cricket in most seasons from 1989–90 to 2010–11. It played 155 matches, for 22 wins, 70 losses and 63 draws. It continues to compete in sub-first-class competitions.
Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club is a first-class cricket team in Sri Lanka. They played their debut first-class match against Nondescripts Cricket Club in January 2001.
Kurunegala Youth Cricket Club is a first-class cricket team in Sri Lanka. They made their first-class debut in 1991 against Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club at Nondescripts Cricket Club Ground in Colombo.
Moratuwa Sports Club was a first-class cricket team in Sri Lanka. It competed in the Premier Trophy, Sri Lanka's main first-class cricket competition, for 13 seasons following the international recognition of first-class status for the 1988–89 season. However, its first-class status was not continuous. In addition, it competed in the Premier Limited Overs Tournament, Sri Lanka's main List A cricket competition, for five seasons.

Ace Capital Cricket Club is a first-class cricket club in Sri Lanka. It was originally founded in 1989 as the Seeduwa/Raddoluwa Cricket Club. In 2011, it became the Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket Club. The SLPA withdrew sponsorship in October 2020 and the club was renamed Ace Capital ahead of the 2020–21 season. In 2022–23, Ace Capital is playing in the Major League Tournament.
The 2015–16 Premier League Tournament was the 28th season of first-class cricket in Sri Lanka's Premier Trophy. It was held between 4 December 2015 and 6 March 2016, with fourteen teams competing. Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club won the competition, their first championship since the 1950–51 season.
The 2017–18 Premier League Tournament was the 30th season of first-class cricket in Sri Lanka's Premier Trophy, with the matches played across three days each in the group stage. Chilaw Marians Cricket Club won the tournament, after finishing unbeaten in the Super Eight section of the competition.
The 2019–20 Premier League Tournament was the 32nd season of first-class cricket in Sri Lanka's Premier Trophy. The tournament started on 31 January 2020 and was originally scheduled to conclude on 12 April 2020. Fourteen teams took part in the competition, split into two groups of seven. Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket Club were relegated at the end of the previous tournament, with Lankan Cricket Club replacing them in this tournament after they gained promotion from Tier B. Colombo Cricket Club were the defending champions.
