William Allen High School, often referred to as Allen High School or simply Allen, is one of two large, urban public high schools of the Allentown School District in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The school provides public education for grades 9 through 12. William Allen High School is located at 106 N. 17th Street in Allentown. It serves students from center city and the city's westside. The city's other public high school, Dieruff High School, serves students from Allentown's eastern and southern sections. Until Dieruff's opening in 1959, William Allen High School was known as Allentown High School.

In 2016, enrollment was reported as 103 pupils in 9th through 12th grades. All students were assigned a Distance Learning Monitor who checked their progress and remained in contact with them through emails, on-line chats through the programs or by phone. Teachers were available to tutor students, to review their problem areas, and to set up plans for achievement that the student could follow between tutoring sessions. Tutoring sessions were held on line using Elluminate or with teachers either at the testing centers or at various locations throughout the state which included libraries in the students' home area, at university library facilities, or at community centers.
