The Isle of Wight Festival is a British music festival which takes place annually in Newport on the Isle of Wight, England. It was originally a counterculture event held from 1968 to 1970.
The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. The events take place simultaneously on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend, sharing the same bill. Bingley Music Live was an annual music festival held in Myrtle Park, Bingley, West Yorkshire, England. Saarang is the annual social and cultural festival of IIT Madras. It is a 5 day long festival usually in the second week of the year. Founded in 1974, Saarang is the second oldest college festival in India. It was started in the name of 'Mardi Gras' with a small number of quizzes and music events. Noughts and Exes were an indie folk rock band that was active in Hong Kong during 2007-2015. The band first consisted of Joshua Wong, Gideon So, Alex Bedwell, Winnie Lau, and Alix Farquhar. In the latter years of the band the live line-up consisted of Adam Robertshaw, and Violin virtuoso Yue Ke for live performances only. After a successful run with the band 'Whence He Came', singer Joshua Wong recruited a group of musicians to accompany him during live performances of his new solo project Noughts and Exes. This would eventually become the first incarnation of the band.
Freespace Fest is an outdoor arts festival held in West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade, Hong Kong. It is a two-day event held annually starting from 2012, held before the Clockenflap Music and Arts Festival in the same area. It features a number of activities such as an open market and dancing performances. Participants are also encouraged to have picnics. There is normally no charge for admission, although a special event in 2014 named 'M.U.R.S.' which charged for admission.
