Eriya Kategaya was a Ugandan lawyer and politician. At the time of his death he was Uganda's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community Affairs. He was also an ex officio Member of the Ugandan Parliament,on account of being a cabinet minister.
Sam Kahamba Kutesa is a Ugandan politician,businessman and lawyer involved in several corruption cases. By the marriage of his daughter Charlotte Kutesa Muhoozi with Muhoozi he is part of the inner circle of president Museveni. Kutesa was the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Cabinet of Uganda,a position he held from 13 January 2005 and maintained through three cabinet reshuffles until May 2021. He was also the elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Mawogola County in Sembabule District. He was the President of the United Nations General Assembly during its 69th session in 2014–2015.

Gilbert Balibaseka Bukenya is a Ugandan politician and physician who was the seventh vice president of Uganda from 23 May 2003 until 23 May 2011. He has represented the constituency of Busiro County North in the Ugandan Parliament since 1996. His autobiography,Intricate Corridors to Power,was published in 2008.
John Mwesigwa Robin Nagenda was a Ugandan writer,political figure,and sportsman. In the 1960s,he pioneered post-colonial English literature in East Africa. He lived in exile in the United Kingdom in the 1970s and 1980s before returning to Uganda in 1986. He subsequently became a senior advisor to President Yoweri Museveni and a prominent newspaper columnist. He represented East Africa at the 1975 Cricket World Cup and was later president of the Uganda Cricket Association.
John Patrick Amama Mbabazi,SC is a Ugandan politician who served as the ninth Prime Minister of Uganda from 24 May 2011 to 19 September 2014. He played an instrumental role in Uganda's protracted liberation struggle from several tyrannical governments (1972-1986) and is a founding member of the National Resistance Movement,the ruling political party in Uganda.

He also served as the first First Deputy Prime Minister from June 2016 to May 2021. He has served as the elected Member of Parliament for East Moyo County in Adjumani District since 2011.
Tarsis Bazana Kabwegyere is a Ugandan sociologist,academic and politician. He is a former minister of general duties in the Ugandan cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 23 May 2013. From 15 August 2012 until 23 May 2013,he was the minister of gender,labour and social affairs. At first,the parliamentary committee vetting cabinet appointments rejected his selection,but after discussions between President Yoweri Museveni and Speaker Rebecca Kadaga,he was finally approved on 7 September 2012. Earlier,he was the minister of disaster relief and planning in the Ugandan cabinet,from 1 June 2006 until 27 May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011,he was dropped from the cabinet and replaced by Stephen Mallinga. He was also the elected member of parliament representing Igara County West,Bushenyi District,from 1996 until 2011.
Maria Emily Lubega Mutagamba was a Ugandan economist and politician. She was the minister of tourism,wildlife and antiquities in the Ugandan Cabinet from 15 August 2012 until 6 June 2016.
Jessica Rose Epel Alupo,commonly known as Jessica Alupo,is a Ugandan politician who is the ninth and current vice president of Uganda since 2021. She is also an educator,and former military officer. She previously served in the cabinet of Uganda as minister of education between 2011 and 2016. She is also an elected member of parliament as Katakwi District's women's representative.

She retained her position in the new cabinet after the 2016 national elections. She served as the elected Member of Parliament for Bulambuli District Women's Representative,from 2011 until 2016 when she lost her seat to Independent candidate;Sarah Wekomba. She again regained her seat after the 2021 general elections.
Christine Joyce Dradidi Ondoa is a physician and medical administrator who is regarded as one of Uganda's finest leaders especially in ensuring that the quality of health service delivery in Uganda is improved,and discipline and ethical code of conduct among health workers is observed. She is a Ugandan paediatrician and Christian Leader. She currently serves as the Director General of the Uganda AIDS Commission. She was appointed to that position by the President of Uganda in February 2014. Prior to that,she served as a Senior Presidential Advisor to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Public Health. She was a member of the board of directors of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI). She was Minister of Health in the Ugandan Cabinet from 2011 to 2013. She was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011,but was replaced by Ruhakana Rugunda on 23 May 2013. On account of being a cabinet minister she was a member of the Ugandan Parliament,in an ex officio capacity. Prior to that,she was the Executive Director of Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital,one of the fourteen regional referral hospitals in Uganda.

She is also the incumbent member of parliament representing the Oyam South Constituency in the 11th Parliament.

She is the first female prime minister of Uganda.
