Eriya Kategaya was a Ugandan lawyer and politician. At the time of his death he was Uganda's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community Affairs. He was also an ex officio Member of the Ugandan Parliament, on account of being a cabinet minister.
The prime minister of Uganda chairs the Cabinet of Uganda, although the president is the effective head of government. Robinah Nabbanja has been the prime minister since 21 June 2021.
Colonel (Retired) Tom Butime is a Ugandan politician. He is the Cabinet Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities in the Ugandan Cabinet. He concurrently serves as the elected representative for Mwenge County Central, Kyenjojo District, in the 10th Ugandan Parliament (2016–2021).

Paul Kawanga Ssemogerere was a Ugandan politician who was the leader of the Democratic Party for 25 years, and one of the main players in Ugandan politics until his retirement in 2005.
Kintu Musoke is a Ugandan politician, closely associated with President Yoweri Museveni. He served as Prime Minister of Uganda from 18 November 1994 to 5 April 1999. He was later appointed to head a task force on fighting AIDS in Uganda. He also serves as an Advisor to the President of Uganda.

He also served as the first First Deputy Prime Minister from June 2016 to May 2021. He has served as the elected Member of Parliament for East Moyo County in Adjumani District since 2011.
The Makerere University School of Medicine (MUSM), also known as the Makerere University Medical School, is the school of medicine of Makerere University, Uganda's oldest and largest public university. The medical school has been part of Makerere University since 1924. The school provides medical education at diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels.
Abubaker Kakyama Mayanja was the first Secretary General of the Uganda National Congress party, the first political party in Uganda set up on 6 March 1952 by Ignatius K. Musaazi. He became the Secretary General of the UNC in his youth when he was still an undergraduate student at Makerere University College, which later became Makerere University. Abu Mayanja helped Musaazi draft the Constitution of the Uganda National Congress party. Abu was a fighter for independence in Uganda and Africa, a strong parliamentarian and one who disliked injustice. He contributed greatly to the political life of Uganda as a constitutional expert, formidable parliamentarian, government minister at various times, and as an excellent Barrister in private practice. His written contributions in the Tribune magazine, Transition, Uganda Argus and New Vision newspapers were well received and much respected.
Ali Kirunda Kivejinja, more commonly known as Kirunda Kivejinja, was a veteran Ugandan politician and senior presidential advisor to the President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni. He at the time of his demise was the Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister without portfolio in the Ugandan Cabinet.
Jaberi Bidandi Ssali, also Bidandi Ssali, is a Ugandan politician and businessman. He is the founder of the People's Progressive Party in Uganda and served as its president. He was also the Minister for Local Government from 1989 to 2004, and an unsuccessful candidate in the 2011 general election. During Idi Amin's regime in the 1970s, Bidandi Ssali worked as a football manager.
Joshua Wanume Kibedi was an Ugandan lawyer, politician and diplomat, who served as the Foreign Minister between January 1971 and January 1973 during the early years of the regime of Idi Amin. However, Kibedi resigned as Foreign Minister in 1973 after the murder of his uncle, Shaban Nkutu, by Amin. Kibedi went into exile and became a leading critic of Idi Amin's dictatorship. He would later serve as Uganda's Ambassador to the United Nations from 1986 to 1988.
The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs is a cabinet-level government ministry of Uganda. It is responsible for the provision of "legal advice and legal services to government, its allied institutions and to the general public and to support the machinery that provides the legal framework for good governance". The ministry is headed by a cabinet minister, currently Norbert Mao.

Professor Emmanuel Karooro is a Ugandan educator, academic and academic administrator, who serves as the vice-chancellor at Ibanda University, a private co-educational institution of higher learning in the Western Region of Uganda.
