The following is a list of constituencies (electoral districts) of Uganda. [1] There are 353 single-member districts which each elect one member of the Parliament of Uganda. [2]
As of 1 July 2020, Uganda is divided into 135 districts plus the capital city of Kampala, which are grouped into four geographic regions.
Sam Kahamba Kutesa is a Ugandan politician, businessman and lawyer involved in several corruption cases. By the marriage of his daughter Charlotte Kutesa Muhoozi with Muhoozi he is part of the inner circle of president Museveni. Kutesa was the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Cabinet of Uganda, a position he held from 13 January 2005 and maintained through three cabinet reshuffles until May 2021. He was also the elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Mawogola County in Sembabule District. He was the President of the United Nations General Assembly during its 69th session in 2014–2015.
A member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district (constituency) to the legislature of State government in the Indian system of government. From each constituency, the people elect one representative who then becomes a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Each state has between seven and nine MLAs for every Member of Parliament (MP) that it has in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's bicameral parliament. There are also members in three unicameral legislatures in Union Territories: the Delhi Legislative Assembly, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and the Puducherry Legislative Assembly. Only a Member of the Legislative Assembly can work as a minister for more than 6 months. If a non-Member of the Legislative Assembly becomes a Chief Minister or a minister, he must become an MLA within 6 months to continue in the job. Only a Member of the Legislative Assembly can become the Speaker of the Legislature.
Horsham is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament, centred on the eponymous town in West Sussex. The seat was won in 2024 by John Milne of the Liberal Democrats, making it the first time since 1876 that a non-Conservative Party candidate has held the seat.
The Parliament of Uganda is the country's unicameral legislative body. The most significant of the Ugandan parliament's functions is to pass laws that will provide good governance in the country. The government ministers are bound to answer to the people's representatives on the floor of the house. Through the various parliamentary committees, parliament scrutinises government programmes, particularly as outlined in the State of the Nation address by the president. The fiscal issues of the government, such as taxation and loans need the sanction of the parliament, after appropriate debate. Parliament must confirm some Presidential nominations and may force a Minister to resign by passing a motion of censure.

Kiddu Makubuya was a Ugandan lawyer, politician, and academic. He served as minister for general duties in the office of the prime minister. He was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011, replacing Janat Mukwaya who retired from elective politics. Before that, from 2005 until 2011, he served as Uganda's Attorney general. He resigned from cabinet on 16 February 2012 amid allegations of misappropriation of government funds. He was also member of parliament, representing Katikamu County South, Luweero District.
Daniel Omara Atubo is a Ugandan lawyer, educator and politician. He has served, from May 2006 until May 2011, as the Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, in the Ugandan Cabinet,. In the cabinet reshuffle on 27 May 2011, he was dropped from the Cabinet. He represented "Otuke County", in present-day Otuke District in the Ugandan Parliament, between 1987 and 2011. He lost his re-election bid to parliament in March 2011.
Sulaiman Kyebakoze Madada is a Ugandan journalist and politician. He is the State Minister for the Elderly and the Disabled in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 1 June 2006. In the cabinet reshuffle of 16 February 2009, and that of 27 May 2011, he retained his cabinet post. He is also the elected Member of Parliament, representing Bbaale County, Kayunga District. He has represented that constituency continuously since 2001.
Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi is a Ugandan politician and lawyer who served as the eighth vice president of Uganda from 24 May 2011 to 21 June 2021. Prior to that, he served as the Speaker of Parliament from 2001 to 2011. He served as Member of Parliament for Bukoto County Central constituency from 1996 to 2021.
Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga is a Ugandan lawyer and politician who served as the Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda from 19 May 2011 until 21 May 2021. She currently serves as the First Deputy Prime Minister of Uganda. She concurrently serves as Minister for East African Community Affairs, in the Cabinet of Uganda.
George William Thembo Nyombi is a Ugandan economist and politician. He is the executive director Uganda Communications Commission a position he assumed on 24 November 2023 and a former State Minister for Information Technology in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. He replaced Alintuma Nsambu, who was dropped from the Cabinet. Prior to that, he served as the State Minister for Luweero Triangle in the Office of the Prime Minister, from 2009 until 2011. Nyombi Thembo is also a former Member of Parliament (MP), for "Kassanda County South", Mubende District. He has continuously represented the constituency since 2001.

Betty Amongi Akena,, commonly known as Betty Amongi, is a Ugandan politician. She is the Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development in the Cabinet of Uganda, as of 9 June 2021. Previously, she served as the Cabinet Minister of Kampala Capital City and before that, from 6 June 2016 until 14 December 2019, as the Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development in Uganda's cabinet. She is also the incumbent member of parliament representing the Oyam South Constituency in the 11th Parliament.
Anna Ebaju Adeke is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. Currently she serves as the Member of Parliament representing Women in Soroti District in the 11th Parliament (2021–2026). She previously served as the parliamentary representative of the National Female Youth Constituency in the 10th parliament (2016–2021). She serves as the Deputy President for Forum for Democratic Change in Eastern Region.

Gopalganj-3 is a constituency represented in the Jatiya Sangsad of Bangladesh. As of August 2024, the seat of this constituency is vacant, and was last held by Sheikh Hasina who served as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh from 2009 to 2024.
Robinah Nabbanja is a Ugandan educator and politician who serves as the Prime Minister of Uganda, having been nominated to the office on 8 June 2021. She was formally confirmed by the Parliament on 21 June 2021. She replaced Ruhakana Rugunda, who was named to the post of Envoy For Special Duties In The Office Of The President of Uganda. She is the first female prime minister of Uganda.
Hellen Adoa, is a Ugandan politician who serves as the Member of Parliament representing the women in Serere District in the 11th Ugandan Parliament.
