S.S. Murata is a Sanmarinese football club, based in Murata, a civil parish of the city of San Marino. The club was founded in 1966. Murata currently plays in Girone B of Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio. The team's colours are black and white.
They won their first Sammarinese national title in 2006, and repeated as champions the next two years. As UEFA decided to include Sammarinese champions in the first preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League starting from the 2007–08 season, Murata were the first Sanmarinese team to take part in the main European competition (see below for details). In order to reinforce the team, in July 2007 the club signed 41-year-old former Brazilian star and 1994 FIFA World Cup champion Aldair, gaining some headlines in the Italian sports news because of the move. [1] Another former Serie A star, 43-year-old striker Massimo Agostini, played for Murata from 2005 to 2008. In July 2008, Murata announced that they were hoping to sign former Brazil international Romário so he could play in the club's upcoming UEFA Champions League fixtures. [2] They also approached the former Formula One champion Michael Schumacher, but both declined Murata's offer. [3] On July 17, 2007, Murata became the first Sanmarinese team to play in a UEFA Champions League fixture, contesting a First Qualifying Round tie against Tampere United from Finland. The home game of the two-legged tie was played at San Marino Calcio's Olimpico Stadium and resulted in a 2–1 win for Tampere. Murata lost the away leg 2–0 and were eliminated.

Football Club Domagnano, commonly referred to as FC Domagnano or simply Domagnano, is a Sanmarinese football club, based in Domagnano. The club was founded in 1966. Domagnano currently plays in Girone B of Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio. The team's colors are red and yellow. Previously known as SP Domagnano, the side has been one of the most successful teams in the Campionato Sammarinese. In the 2004–05 season, Domagnano won the championship with a play-off win over S.S. Murata. As the Sammarinese champions, Domagnano entered the UEFA Cup but was defeated easily in the first qualifying round. Some of Domagnano's rivals are S.S. Pennarossa and A.C. Libertas.

The 2007–08 Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio season was the twenty-third since its establishment. The regular season started on September 21, 2007 and ended on April 20, 2008. The playoff competition, in which the top three clubs from each girone competed for the national title and qualification for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League next season, started on May 7, 2008 and ended with the final on June 3, 2008. S.S. Murata successfully defended their title for the second time, winning their third straight national title, and winning qualification, beating out Juvenes/Dogana in the final.
Tre Fiori Football Club, also known simply as Tre Fiori FC, is a semi-professional football club based in Fiorentino, San Marino. The club, formed in 1949, has been awarded 8 national championship titles and 8 national cup titles, making them the most successful clubs in the history of San Marino football. In 2018 Tre Fiori was the first team from San Marino to qualify for the next round of a UEFA competition, winning 3–1 against Bala Town F.C. on aggregate in the preliminary round of the UEFA Europa League. Tre Fiori currently hold the record for most goals scored in European competition by a Sammarinese team: eight goals. They currently play in the Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are yellow and blue.
