"Saiyaara" (transl.Moving star) is an Indian Hindi-language song for the soundtrack album of the 2025 Hindi film of the same name. The lyrics were written by Irshad Kamil and the song was composed and recorded by Faheem Abdullah. Tanishk Bagchi and Arslan Nizami too composed the song. The music video for the song stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who are also the lead actors in the film. The choreography was done by Vijay Ganguly. [1] "Saiyaara" was shot in a single day, according to a post from Bollywood Hungama. The song, which serves as the end credits for the film, was a last-minute addition and was filmed shortly before the film's release. [2] The song was released on 3 June 2025. [3] The reprise version of the song titled "Saiyaara Reprise – Female", was sung by Shreya Ghoshal. [4]

Radhika Sharma of NDTV noted that the song is "both hummable as well as head-bangy". [5] Rishabh Suri of Hindustan Times praised the title track, calling it "hauntingly beautiful" and stating it leaves a lasting impact. [6] Nandini Ramnath, writing for Scroll.in highlighted the title track as particularly effective and memorable. [7] Rahul Desai of The Hollywood Reporter India described the song as "earwormy in the most Vishesh Films-coded way". [8] Bollywood Hungama in their movie review post highlighted that "the title track is the best track of the lot and is very well shot." [9]

"Saiyaara" became the first Hindi song to reach the top 10 on Spotify's Global Top 50 chart. [10] The song peaked at #1 on "India Songs" for consecutive five weeks through 2 August 2025 [11] to 30 August 2025. [12] The song peaked at the same position on "Official Asian Music Chart" also, for consecutive three weeks through 8 August 2025 [13] to 22 August 2025. [14] The song entered the "Billboard Global 200" and peaked at the 8th position in the week of 9 August 2025, [15] and became the first Hindi song to reach the top 10 on the Global 200 chart. On the "Billboard Global Excl. US" chart, the song peaked at #4 in the week of 2 August 2025.
