Sandasar is a village and union council (an administrative subdivision) of Mansehra District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. [1] It is located in the south of the district and lies to the west of the district capital Mansehra. [2]

A Union Council forms the second-tier of local government and fifth administrative division in Pakistan. Its structure and responsibilities differ between provinces and territories.

Mansehra District is a district in the Hazara division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Mansehra district and town are named after Man Singh, a leading general of Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is considered as an important tourist location due to the Kaghan Valley area being located in the district and the Karakoram Highway passing through the district.
