Sands Bank is an 11.1 hectares (27 acres) Local Nature Reserve in High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. It is owned by West Wycombe Estates and managed by Wycombe District Council. [1] [2]
The site is a mixture of woodland, scrub and grassland on a south facing chalk slope. Some of the beech woodland dates back 400 years, and there is younger cherry, holly, yew and ash. Ground plants include wood spurge and goldilocks buttercup, and there are mammals such as roe deer and hazel dormice. There is a wide variety of fungi. [3]

Fleet Pond is a 48.3-hectare (119-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Fleet in Hampshire. It is also a Local Nature Reserve.
Norsey Wood is a 67.2-hectare (166-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Billericay, Essex. It is also a Local Nature Reserve and a Scheduled Monument.

The Wick is a 3.4 hectare Local Nature Reserve in St Albans in Hertfordshire. It is owned and managed by St Albans City Council. It is also designated a County Wildlife Site.
Captain's Wood is a 13.9 hectares Local Nature Reserve near Chesham in Buckinghamshire. It is owned by Buckinghamshire County Council and the Chiltern Society took over management of the site from the Council in 2014. It is part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Chairborough Road is a 3.9 hectares Local Nature Reserve in High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. It is owned and managed by Wycombe District Council.
Prestwood Local Nature Reserve or Prestwood (Picnic Site) is a 2.1 hectares (5.2 acres) Local Nature Reserve in Prestwood in Buckinghamshire. It is in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site is owned by Wycombe District Council and leased to the Chiltern Society.
Warren Nature Reserve is a 2.3 hectares Local Nature Reserve in Wooburn in Buckinghamshire. It is owned by Wycombe District Council and managed by the council together with Wooburn and Bourne End parish council.
Great Wood and Dodd's Grove is a 36.8-hectare (91-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex. It is also a Local Nature Reserve called Belfairs. Essex Wildlife Trust runs the Belfairs Woodland Centre and manages the site together with Southend-on-Sea City Council.
