Sarabjot Singh (30 September 2001) is an Indian sport shooter. He competes in the 10m air pistol discipline. He is part of the Indian shooting team at the 2022 Asian Games, Hangzhou, China. [1] Indian 10m air pistol team of Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema and Shiva Narwal beat China to win the gold at the 2022 Asian Games. [2] Sarabjot also won the silver medal for India in the mixed 10m air pistol with Divya T.S. in the Asian Games shooting competitions. [3] [4]

Early life

Sarabjot hails from Dheen village of Ambala, Barara block, Haryana. He is the son of Jatinder Singh, a farmer and Hardeep Kaur, a homemaker. [5] He studied at DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh. [6] [5] He trains under coach Abhishek Rana Ambala Cantt-based AR Shooting Academy in Central Phoenix Club. [5]

He had earlier won gold medals and set a new junior world record in the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany. He is the only Indian shooter to win a gold medal in ISSF World Championship, ISSF World Cup, Youth Olympic Games, Asian Games and Asian Air Gun Championship. He broke his own world record with a score of 245.5 and claimed gold in Junior Men 10m Air Pistol at 2018 World Championship in Changwon, Korea.

Esha Singh is an Indian amateur shooter, supported by OGQ. She became the national champion in the 10m Air Pistol category in 2018. She clinched an Olympic quota berth in the 10m Air Pistol category for the Paris Olympic Games at the Asian Qualifier at Jakarta on 8 January 2024. She was also conferred the Arjun Award for 2023 but missed the event on 9 January 2024 due to the Asian qualifier.

Varun Tomar is an Indian sport shooter, supported by OGQ. He bagged an Olympic quota berth for the Paris Olympics in the 10m Air Pistol event by winning a gold medal at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers on 8 January 2024 at Jakarta.

Raiza Dhillon is an Indian sport shooter. She qualified for an Olympic quota berth for the Paris Olympics in the women's skeet event by winning a gold medal at the Asian shotgun championships, an Asian Olympic Qualifier on 20 January 2024 at Kuwait city. She became the first Indian woman to potentially qualify for an Olympic skeet event. It also brought the Indian Olympic quota count to 19. The quota berth won by a shooter is a berth for the country and the Federation, which can nominate any shooter for Olympics, as per set criteria.
