History

Science et Vie TV was launched on 30 March 2015 at 8:45 pm after an association between Mondadori France and AB Groupe, enabling the scientific journal Science & Vie to decline on television to replace the pre-existing Encyclo. [2]

In April 2016, Science et Vie TV became included in the basic offer of Canalsat, previously the channel was on its Crescendo option. [3] [4]

Programming

The channel evokes different aspects of science: technology, health, nature and environment, society and space.

Élizabeth Teissier French astrologer

Élizabeth Teissier, née Germaine Élizabeth Hanselmann is a French astrologer and former model and actress. Between 1975 and 1976, she created a daily horoscope on French television channel Antenne 2, and in 1981, she launched the Astro Show television programme in Germany. Her personal clients included former President of France François Mitterrand, and she has published several books on astrology. A test that compared her predictions against common sense and chance failed to show any evidence of her having any special powers.

Téléfoot: La Chaîne du Foot, also known as simply Téléfoot, was a French pay television channel owned by Mediapro. Launched on 17 August 2020, it was established as part of an agreement by Mediapro with Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) to acquire rights to Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 football beginning in the 2020-21 season. TF1 Group served as a content partner for the channel, under which it was branded as an extension of its football programme Téléfoot and employed its on-air personalities. The network was offered via both television providers and as an over-the-top streaming service.
