J-One is a French television channel dedicated to Asian anime and culture. It was launched on 4 October 2013. [1]

J-One broadcast anime in simulcast. Many of these are then broadcast with French dub on Game One.

J-One was a Canal+ exclusive, until 2019 when it joined ISP bouquets.

Excel Saga is a manga series written and illustrated by Kōshi Rikudō. It was serialized in Young King OURs from 1996 to 2011, and its individual chapters were collected and published in tankōbon volumes by Shōnen Gahōsha. The series follows the attempts of Across, a "secret ideological organization", to conquer the city of Fukuoka as a first step towards world domination. The title character of the series, Excel, is a key member of the group who is working towards completing this goal, while the city is being defended by a shadowy government agency led by Dr. Kabapu.

Case Closed, also known as Detective Conan, is a Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday since January 1994, with its chapters collected in 100 tankōbon volumes as of October 2021. Due to legal problems with the name Detective Conan, the English language releases from Funimation and Viz were renamed to Case Closed. The story follows the high school detective Shinichi Kudo who was transformed into a child while investigating a mysterious organization and generally solved a multitude of cases by impersonating his childhood best friend's father and various other characters.

Colleen Clinkenbeard American voice actress

Colleen Smith Clinkenbeard is an American voice actress, ADR director, line producer, and writer working for the anime-dubbing company Funimation. One of her major starts was as the English voice provider for Rachel Moore in the long-running detective series Case Closed. She then later served as the Co-ADR director on Fullmetal Alchemist, which aired on Adult Swim in 2004, and would later on star in many other popular anime dubs. Notably as the English voice for Monkey D. Luffy in One Piece, Erza Scarlet in Fairy Tail, and Momo Yaoyorozu in My Hero Academia.

<i>The Qwaser of Stigmata</i> Japanese manga and anime series

The Qwaser of Stigmata is a manga and anime series authored by Hiroyuki Yoshino featuring art by Kenetsu Satō. The series is notable for its violence, fan service, and the use of vital energy coming from women's breasts as a central plot device. The manga series was published in Japan in the manga magazine Champion Red from 2006 to 2016, and the chapters collected into 24 tankōbon volumes. A 24-episode anime television series was produced with the same title as the manga series and broadcast in Japan on Biglobe in 2010. An OVA adaptation titled The Qwaser of Stigmata: Portrait of the Empress was also produced and released on DVD with the manga series volume 10. A 12-episode second season was produced with the title The Qwaser of Stigmata II and was broadcast in Japan between April and June, 2011.

Moyasimon: Tales of Agriculture, known in Japan as Moyashimon (もやしもん), is a Japanese manga series by Masayuki Ishikawa. It was serialized in Kodansha's seinen magazine Evening from July 2004 to June 2013 and moved to the magazine Monthly Morning Two, where it concluded in January 2014. The series follows Tadayasu Sawaki, a first-year college student at an agricultural university, who has a unique ability to see and communicate with microorganisms. Del Rey Manga licensed the manga, but only released two volumes in English in North America. An 11-episode anime television series adaptation, animated by Shirogumi and Telecom Animation Film, aired between October and December 2007 on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block. An 11-episode live action adaptation was aired on Noitamina between July and September 2010. An 11-episode animated second season titled Moyasimon Returns aired from July to September 2012.
