MTV is a Brazilian pay television channel owned by Paramount Networks Americas. The channel is the second Brazilian version of MTV after the free-to-air network MTV Brasil, founded in 1990, ended its operations. The channel premiered at 9:30 pm BRT of 1 October 2013, with the TV show Coletivation.

The Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão is a Brazilian television network founded on Wednesday, 19 August 1981, by the businessman and television personality Silvio Santos. The company was established after a public tender by the Brazilian Federal Government to form two new networks, created from revoked concessions of the defunct Tupi and Excelsior networks. The SBT was founded on the same day that the concession agreement was signed, and that the act was broadcast live by the network, so that this was his first program aired. Before acquiring the concessions of the four station that were to form the SBT, Grupo Silvio Santos had since 1976 the concession of Rio de Janeiro's channel 11, known as TVS Rio de Janeiro, which was a fundamental step to give life to the SBT.

RuPaul's Drag Race is an American reality competition television series, the first in the Drag Race franchise, produced by World of Wonder for Logo TV, WOW Presents Plus, VH1 and, beginning with the fifteenth season, MTV. The show documents RuPaul in the search for "America's next drag superstar". RuPaul plays the role of host, mentor, and head judge for this series, as contestants are given different challenges each week. Contestants are judged by a panel that includes RuPaul, Michelle Visage, an alternating third main judge of either Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, or Ts Madison, and one or more guest judges, who critique their progress throughout the competition. The title of the show is a play on drag queen and drag racing, and the title sequence and song "Drag Race" both have a drag-racing theme.

The series is narrated by Andrew Maxwell. Ex on the Beach follows the format of cast members staying abroad and beginning relationships, which are typically interrupted by their exes arriving at various points throughout the series. MTV in the United States airs an American version of the series.

Super Shore is a reality television series broadcast on MTV Spain and MTV Latin America, which follows the daily lives of nine young people who intend to spend the summer living together in different parts of southern Europe, starting on the Greek island of Mykonos and later in the Spanish city of Madrid. De Férias com o Ex Brasil, known as Ex on the Beach Brasil in Latin America and Portugal, is a Brazilian reality television series based on the British television series Ex on the Beach. The series premiered on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. on MTV.

The first season of De Férias com o Ex, a Brazilian television programme, began airing on 13 October 2016 on MTV. The series concluded on 15 December 2016 after 10 episodes. The show was announced in July 2016.

The second season of De Férias com o Ex, a Brazilian television programme, began airing on 19 October 2017 on MTV. The series concluded on 21 December 2017 after 10 episodes. The series was confirmed in April 2017. The group of cast members for this series include Are You the One? Brasil series 1 contestant Thaigo Consani. It also features the return of Gabi Prado following her appearance in the first series of the show.

The third series of De Férias com o Ex, a Brazilian television programme, began airing on 27 September 2018 on MTV. The series was confirmed on 17 May 2018. The cast members for this series were confirmed on 6 September 2018, and include Super Shore star Igor Freitas, A Casa series 1 contestants Mauricio Miguel and Vinicius Büttel. Andressa Alves also joined the series as an ex having already appeared in third series of Are You the One? Brasil as well as Augusto Nogueira, who appeared in Conexao Models.

The Circle Brazil is a Brazilian reality competition show, produced by Studio Lambert and Motion Content Group which will be launched on Netflix. It premiered on 11 March 2020 and ended on 25 March as part of a three-week event. Along with The Circle Brazil, Netflix also released separate versions of The Circle in the United States and France. The Circle Brazil will be the first Brazilian reality TV show on Netflix. The show bills itself as a game based around social media, with the concept that "anyone can be anyone in The Circle". It has been compared to Big Brother and Catfish in format.

RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked! is a spin-off of the American reality competition RuPaul's Drag Race, currently airing on the cable channel MTV. The program debuted on Logo in the United States on February 1, 2010, as a companion show launched in conjunction with the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race; it moved to WOWPresents on March 3, 2015, as a web series, coinciding with the debut of the seventh season of the parent series. The series returned to cable television on VH1, on March 22, 2018, coinciding with the tenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race. The show now airs on MTV as of January 6, 2023, in conjunction with the fifteenth season of the main series.

The franchise originated with RuPaul's Drag Race, which premiered in the United States in 2009. The original series is often credited for bringing drag into the "mainstream". It features celebrities and past cast members of the show living together in a luxurious mansion with their ex-partners. The season has been filmed in Ilhabela, São Paulo from January 18 to February 10, 2021. The series is set to premiere on April 8, 2021.

Rio Shore is a Brazilian reality television series that premiered on MTV Brasil and Paramount+ on September 30, 2021. It is the Brazilian adaptation of the American program Jersey Shore. It follows the same format as the Mexican version. The show follows the lives of ten participants who live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

De Férias com o Ex Caribe, known as La Venganza de los Ex Caribe in Latin America, is a Brazilian reality television series created by ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS) and produced and aired by MTV and Paramount+, based on the British television series Ex on the Beach.
