MTV Plus was a Greek free-to-air television channel, owned by Viacom.
The channel was launched in Greece on 18 October 2009. Its inauguration party was held in "Vogue" Club in Thessaloniki on 17 December 2009, with the guest appearance of British dance band Freemasons and some Greek bands such as C Real and Stavento. MTV+ was available on DTT in Thessaloniki, northern Greece. Its programming was similar to its sister channel MTV Greece. MTV+ used MTV's then global branding. The channel was closed down on 12 December 2011, replaced by Nickelodeon Plus.

Astra 1A was the first satellite launched and operated by SES, launched in December 1988. During its early days, it was often referred to as the Astra Satellite, as SES only operated one satellite originally. The satellite provided 16 transponders(+6 as rescue) and television coverage to Western Europe from 1989 to 2004. Astra 1A was retired and became derelict in December 2004.

MTV Philippines was a 24-hour music/entertainment television network owned by All Youth Channels, Inc., through a partnership with MTV Networks Asia Pacific. The network originally started its broadcast on January 1, 2001. Two other MTV-branded networks carrying domestic its final broadcast on March 20, 2011, content have since struggled to stay on the air through the 2010s, neither lasting more than four years.

Antenna Group or ANT1 Group, is a media company in Greece and currently the largest Greek media company. It was established on 2 August 1989 by Minos Kyriakou. Today, his son, Theodore Kyriakou, heads up a media empire whose operations include broadcasting, radio, publishing, digital, educational services, telecommunications and a record label. At the cornerstone of the company is ANT1 TV, one of the largest and most successful private television networks in Greece.
MTV Greece was a Greek free-to-air regional television channel launched on 1 September 2008, replacing Smart TV. Owned by Radio TV Piraeus S.A., it closed down suddenly on 11 January 2016, one year prior the proper MTV copyrights come to an end, despite the good ratings. It was replaced by RISE on terrestrial television. Also, it OTE TV and Nova subscription providers, it was replaced by MTV Global and MTV Live.

Aris FC, commonly known as Aris Thessaloniki or simply Aris, is a Greek professional football club based in the city of Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece. It is one of the largest clubs in Greece. The Skelters is a Greek rock band formed in Thessaloniki in 1996 from brothers singer/guitarist Angel and drummer/vocalist Daniel Charavitsidis. The original lineup was completed with lead guitarist/vocalist Stavros Amanatidis and bassist Thodoris Nikolaou. They have appeared in several live stages throughout Greece and supported many other artists such as ZZ Top and Pavlov's Dog.Some of their main influences are the Beatles, John Lennon, U2, Queen, and Elvis Presley. The first album of The Skelters is entitled “Explain To Me” and was released in 2009.

New Hellenic Radio, Internet and Television or NERIT (ΝΕΡΙΤ) was the state-owned public broadcaster for Greece from 4 May 2014 to 11 June 2015. Antonis Samaras' coalition government established NERIT to replace the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) in 2013: NERIT began broadcasting under their identity on 4 May 2014, replacing the transitional service Dimosia Tileorasi.
Nickelodeon Plus is a Greek free-to-air television channel in Thessaloniki. On 16 December 2011, its digital broadcast in Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, entirely replaced the music channel Balkans TV, which began operating in November 1995.
