Scott Aaron Kupor (born October 6,1971) is an American investment banker who has been serving as director of the United States Office of Personnel Management since July 2025.

Graduated from Stanford University,he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in public policy in 1993 and a Juris Doctor degree in 1996. [3]
After law school,Kupor started as an investment banker advising the tech industry. He also spent one year clerking for Judge Jerry Edwin Smith on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. [4]
In June 2010,Kupor was named as a partner at Andreessen Horowitz,an American privately-held venture capital firm headquartered in Menlo Park,California. [5]
In December 2024, The New York Times reported that Kupor had been considered as a potential nominee for administrator of the General Services Administration. [6] On December 22,President Donald Trump nominated Kupor to serve as director of the Office of Personnel Management. [7] On July 9,2025,his nomination was confirmed by a 49–46 vote. [8] He was sworn in on July 14,2025. [9]
