Sembawang Road [1] (Chinese :三巴旺路) is a major road in Sembawang, Singapore; started as a track in the 1920s and was officially named in 1938, going from Sembawang to Thomson Road. Buses operated by various private companies were the main mode of transport then. Present day Sembawang Road is a major arterial road linking the Northern and Central portion of Singapore.

North–South Corridor, Singapore future expressway and cycling path in Singapore

The North–South Corridor, originally conceptualised as the North-South Expressway, will be the 11th of Singapore's network of expressways when completed. The North South Corridor will serve increasing traffic along the north-south corridor that is currently served by the Central Expressway (CTE). This new expressway was announced on 30 January 2008 as part of a major review of Singapore's transport network by the Land Transport Authority (LTA). The 21 kilometres (13 mi) expressway would cost about S$7–8 billion when fully completed in 2026 as North-South Corridor and will connect the East Coast Parkway (ECP) with the northern parts of Singapore.

Canberra MRT station

Canberra MRT station (NS12) is a future elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North South Line along Canberra Link in Sembawang, Singapore. The station is being built after feasibility studies conducted by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) confirmed that it was possible to be constructed, after the idea of a new MRT station between Sembawang MRT station and Yishun MRT station was first raised in the Land Transport Master Plan 2013. It will be the second infill station on the MRT network, with the first being Dover MRT station.

Sembawang Shopping Centre is a four-storey commercial development located along Sembawang Road in Sembawang Spring Estate of Sembawang, Singapore. It was developed by CapitaLand Mall Trust and underwent a refurbishment and reopened in 2007. In April 2018, the Centre was sold to Lian Beng-Apricot Sembawang.
