Server Sundaram is an unreleased Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by Anand Balki, and produced by J. Selvakumar. The film stars Santhanam, Vaibhavi Shandilya and Snehan. It was filmed in 2016, but failed to have a theatrical release due to distribution issues.
In December 2015, debutant director Anand Balki announced that he would be making a film with Santhanam in the lead role and Santhosh Narayanan as music composer. [1] Producer Saravanan who produced Pichaikkaran with Vijay Antony consulted the 1964 film's actor Nagesh's family, before announcing that Anand Balki's film would be titled the same. [2] Subsequently, the team also chose to cast Nagesh's grandson, Bijesh, in a supporting role of a catering college student. [3] [4] Major portions of the film were shot in and around SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.
For his role of a caterer, Santhanam took training at a five-star restaurant and learnt skills from the restaurant's staff. [5] The first look poster of the film was released on 20 January 2016 coinciding with Santhanam's birthday, while the makers revealed that project would be shot in Chennai, Goa and Dubai. [6] In June 2016, the team shot a song with YouTube dancers Poonam and Priyanka Shah in Australia, alongside the lead actors. [7] Filming ended by late October 2016. [8]
The soundtrack of the movie is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film's soundtrack consists of five songs, four of which were written by Vivek Velmurugan of 36 Vayadhinile and Jil Jung Juk fame, while the fifth song "Kannaal Modhaadhey" was written by Muthamil of Enakkul Oruvan and Vikram Vedha fame.

Server Sundaram was originally scheduled for 7 September 2017, [9] before being rescheduled for 29 September. [10] After further delays, [11] it was scheduled for 6 July 2018, [12] before being delayed again to avoid competition with Mr. Chandramouli . [13] After being in deadlock for more than a year, it was scheduled for 31 January 2020, [14] only to be postponed to 14 February to avoid competition with Santhanam's other film, Dagaalty , [15] and then to 21 February. [16] After failing to release on the scheduled date, the film has no new release date, with the director blaming the distributors for ruining the film's release with their "amateur approach". Nagesh (born Cheyur Krishnarao Nageshwaran; was an Indian actor and comedian mostly remembered for his comic roles in Tamil films during the 1960s. Nagesh was born in Dharapuram. He acted in over 1,000 films from 1958 to 2008, performing in a variety of roles as comedian, lead roles, supporting actor and antagonist. He has also acted in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada films. Nagesh's style of comedy was largely inspired by Hollywood actor Jerry Lewis. Similarities between Nagesh and Lewis earned Nagesh the sobriquet the "Jerry Lewis of India". He was also nicknamed as the King of Comedy due to his impeccable comedy timing and body language. He featured regularly in the film projects of M. G. Ramachandran and Sivaji Ganesan even at a time when there was a massive rift between the two leading actors in Tamil cinema at that time.
P. C. Sreeram is an Indian cinematographer and film director who works in Indian films. He is also the president of Qube Cinemas, a digital cinema technology company. He is an alumnus of the Madras Film Institute. Apart from his work as a cinematographer, Sreeram was much appreciated for his directorial venture Kuruthipunal. The film was internationally acclaimed and was submitted by India as its official entry to the Oscars in 1996. Sreeram is known for his association with Bharathan, Mani Ratnam, R Balki, Vikram Kumar, and received critical acclaim for his work in films such as Thevar Magan, Mouna Ragam, Nayakan, Cheeni Kum, Agni Natchathiram, Paa, Geethanjali, Alaipayuthey, I, Pad Man, O Kadhal Kanmani, Thiruda Thiruda, Ishq, and Remo. Santhanam Neelamegam is an Indian actor and film producer who mainly works in Tamil cinema. Beginning his career as a comedian on television, he rose to fame through his performances in STAR Vijay's Lollu Sabha enacting the lead role in spoofs of Tamil films. He was subsequently given a chance by actor Silambarasan to feature in a supporting role in Manmadhan (2004) and then was signed on to appear in a host of films, notably winning good reviews for his work in Sachien (2005) and Polladhavan (2007). He appeared in a one-off leading role in Shankar's production Arai En 305-il Kadavul (2008) and became a staple feature as a comedian with his brand of insult comedy becoming very successful during the period, with his market popularity helping stuck films find distributors.
Kovil (transl. Temple) is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Hari and produced by A. M. Rathnam. It stars Silambarasan and Sonia Agarwal while Vadivelu, Rajkiran, Charle and Nassar play supporting roles. The music was composed by Harris Jayaraj, with editing done by V. T. Vijayan and cinematography by Priyan. The film released on 10 January 2004 and became a box office hit.

This film is a remake of the 2014 Telugu movie Loukyam, starring Gopichand, Rakul Preet Singh, Sampath Raj, Mukesh Rishi and Brahmanandam. It was released in a Hindi dub in 2021, titled Santa, by RKD Studios.
