Saathiya (transl. Companion) is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Mani Ratnam and Yash Chopra under the banners, Yash Raj Films and Madras Talkies. It is a remake of the Tamil film Alaipayuthey, whose climax was inspired by the English film Sliding Doors (1998). The film was released on 6 March 2015. Telugu version of the film is titled as Naalo Okkadu.
36 Vayadhinile is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by Rosshan Andrrews, which is a remake of his own Malayalam film How Old Are You (2014), and produced by Suriya Sivakumar under his production studio 2D Entertainment, marking his debut as a producer. The film stars Jyothika marking her comeback to films after an eight-year hiatus, while Rahman, Abhirami, Nassar, Delhi Ganesh and Siddhartha Basu appear in other prominent roles. The film's soundtrack was composed by Santhosh Narayanan, with cinematography and editing handled by R. Diwakaran and Mahesh Narayanan respectively.
2D Entertainment is an Indian film production and distribution company established by Suriya. Other key people involved are Rajsekar Pandian, Suriya's wife Jyothika and Suriya's brother Karthi. The company was named by the starting letter of Suriya's children Diya and Dev. The company was established in 2013.

Jil Jung Juk is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language neo-Western post-apocalyptic black comedy film written and directed by debutant Deeraj Vaidy, who also co-wrote the script with Mohan Ramakrishnan. Siddharth produced the film under Etaki Entertainment banner, and also starred alongside Avinash Raghudevan and Sananth Reddy, playing the titular characters. In the film, Jil, Jung and Juk are assigned by a dreadful drug lord to transport drugs, where they faces struggles during their journey. The film explores the themes of butterfly effect, post-apocalyptic and futuristic fiction.

Server Sundaram is an unreleased Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by Anand Balki, and produced by J. Selvakumar. The film stars Santhanam, Vaibhavi Shandilya and Snehan. It was filmed in 2016, but failed to have a theatrical release due to distribution issues.
Sawaari is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language road psychological thriller film written and directed by Guhan Senniappan. The film stars Benito Franklin, Sanam Shetty, Karthik Yogi, and Mathivanan Rajendran, with Vishal Chandrasekhar composing the film's music. Distributed by Sri Thenandal Films, the film theatrically released on 18 March 2016.
