"Sexy, Free & Single" is a song recorded in two languages (Korean and Japanese) by South Korean boy band Super Junior. The original Korean version was released as the group's thirteenth Korean single from their sixth studio album, Sexy, Free & Single on July 1, 2012 through SM Entertainment via digital download and streaming. The Japanese version was released through Avex Trax on August 22, 2012 as the group's fourth official Japanese single, and was distributed in two physical formats.
The title track "Sexy, Free & Single", describes the sexy and free life of a single man in a soulful Eurohouse genre with an easy and infectious chorus. [1] It is composed and arranged by Danish songwriters Daniel 'Obi' Klein, Thomas Sardorf and Lasse Lindorff, with the Korean version written by Yoo Young-jin and the Japanese version written by Leonn. The song was composed in the key of C# major, with a tempo of 115 beats per minute. [2]
The group reportedly filmed a music video in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, [3] with a Devin Jamieson choreographed dance for title track, "Sexy, Free & Single", who had worked with artists such as BoA, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Hilary Duff. [4] In addition, their performance also benefit from the support provided by other choreographers such as Lyle Beniga, Nick Baga and Devon Perri. [5]
On June 29, the teaser for the MV was released on their official YouTube channel, [6] this was followed by the full music video on July 3. [7]
On June 29, during the press conference at the Mnet 20's Choice Awards members of the group confirmed that they had recorded a Japanese version of title track, "Sexy, Free & Single", and an original Japanese MV, as well as other tracks. They did not announce plans for any promotional activities in Japan. [8] On July 17, SM Entertainment announced that the track would be released on August 22, 2012, as their fourth Japanese single. [9] On August 22, Super Junior officially released their fourth Japanese single "Sexy, Free & Single". After the first day of sales, the single placed second on the Oricon Daily Chart, selling 63,813 units. [10] The following day, the Japanese version of "Sexy, Free & Single" placed second on the Oricon Weekly Chart by selling 109,821 units [11] and later placed sixth on the Oricon Monthly Chart by selling 118,902 units. [12] The song was certified gold in Japan for selling over 100.000 copies.

Super Junior , also known as SJ or SuJu, is a South Korean boy band. The group is composed of Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. Han Geng, Kibum, and Kangin were originally part of the group before departing in 2011, 2015 and 2019, respectively. The group was formed by the founder of SM Entertainment, Lee Soo-man in 2005 as a 12-piece group with rotational members but the concept was abandoned after addition of Kyuhyun in 2006. They are also dubbed by the media as the "King of Hallyu Wave" due to their contributions in Korean Wave.
Lee Hyuk-jae, better known by his stage name Eunhyuk, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, dancer and television host. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Super Junior and its subgroups Super Junior-T and Super Junior-H. In 2011, he joined Super Junior's Mandopop subgroup Super Junior-M and the duo Super Junior-D&E, active in China and Japan respectively.
Lee Dong-hae, referred to as Donghae, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, composer and actor. He became a trainee under SM Entertainment after winning a prize at SM's Youth Best Contest in 2001. After four years of training, Donghae debuted as a member of boy group Super Junior in November 2005. In July 2023, Lee left SM Entertainment, although he remains as a member of Super Junior. Two months later, Lee along with Eunhyuk founded new label ODE.ent to managed his solo activities as well as D&E's activities and he also charges as a Co-CEO of the label.

"Sexy, Free & Single" won three accolades; the 2013 Myx Music Awards's Favourite K-Pop Video, the Singapore's e-Awards in the Most Popular Music Video in K-pop category, and Favorite Asian Music Video in You2Play Awards. In 2018, music video for "Black Suit" won the International Video of the Year, also in the Myx Music Awards.

Kim Jae-joong, also known mononymously as Jaejoong in South Korea and Jejung/J-Jun (ジェジュン) in Japan, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, actor and director. So Beast is the first Japanese album from the South Korean boy group Beast. "Devil" is a single released by South Korean boy band Super Junior on July 16, 2015. It is the lead single of the album of the same. The track featured the vocals of Yesung after he was discharged from his mandatory military service on May 4, 2015, and it's also served as the first single without the vocals of Sungmin and Shindong who were serving their mandatory military service at that time. The single charted at number 21 on the national chart Gaon Digital Chart and sold over 150,000 digital download on said Chart.
