Shahran is a neighbourhood in north-west Tehran, Iran. [1] [2]

Contents

Shahran is located at the beginning of an old road toward Sulqan and Sangan; two mountainous villages. The road also connects Tehran to Imamzadeh Davood; a village with a shrine with the same name. Shahran is located in the east of the Kan District; a large old village now is a part of Tehran City and still is also an independent district of Tehran governorship.

Fashion and clothing

Fashion and clothing have been one of the most important sectors of the neighborhood economy in the decades of 2000, 2010 and 2020. Many Tehrani models have been working in the neighborhood. Many categories of women's clothing such as women's boots, leggings, scarves, and coats are famous for selling in the neighborhood stores. [3]

Koohsar Shahran Park is a forest park located in shahran, northern Tehran, Iran. [4] [5] It covers an area of about 10 square kilometers, and includes ramps and facilities for cycling and skating. [6] [7] Koohsar Shahran Park has 2 main entrances, One on Koohsar Boulevard and another on Shahran Boulevard. Also, Koohsar Shahran is Tehran's largest forest park. [8] Due to the clean air, many people in Tehran come to Koohsar Shahran Park for walking and sport activities. [9]
