Shreema Bhattacharjee is an Indian Bengali television actress best known for her portrayal of the character Nilasha Banerjee aka Nil in the Bengali drama-romance-comedy television series Jamai Raja that aired on Zee Bangla from 5 June 2017 to 12 August 2018. [1] She debuted on the big screen Abhimanyu Mukherjee's Teko in 2019.

Personal life

Shreema was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India on 26 February 1997. [2] Her upbringing was in Kolkata. She had had a relationship with actor Gourab Roy Chowdhury in 2020. [3] It was widely rumoured that she had had a relationship with actor Sayanta Modak [4] and cricketer Kanishka Sheth [5] in 2021 & 2022 respectively. It's widely rumoured that she has a relationship with actor Indranil Chatterjee. [6]

Career

Shreema debuted on television in the Colors Bangla megaserial Nagleela, is quite successful. Her second television series Jamai Raja brought her huge success and popularity. Her acting as Nilasha Banerjee aka Nil was well-received and beloved by audience. She gained popularity through this character.

Shreema made her silver screen debut with the film Teko , a comedy directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee, that released in November 2019. [7]

She portrayed the official female lead antagonist, Dyuti Bhattacharya in the Star Jalsha megaserial Gaatchora (2021-2023). [8] Her acting as Dyuti Bhattacharya was well acclaimed by audience and appreciated by critics.
