Critical reception

The album received mixed reviews from critics. Ayomide Tayo of Nigerian Entertainment Today rated the album a 2.5 out of 5, saying that it "has the flaw of having a one-sided approach", although "by using what he has to his disposal (mainly Don Jazzy) he has delivered an adventurous album that is realistic and honest. It is not a classic, it is not great, but it is what you would expect from Dr. Sid.", Tayo says. Wilfred Okiche of YNaija did not like the album, saying that "the last thing that 'Siduction' does is seduce anybody and one does not come off with a deeper knowledge of Dr Sid. It achieves other purposes instead. It annoys, it infuriates and then it bores." [21]
