Simon (software)

Simon is open source software for speech dictation, used among the KDE library. [1] It can permit to interact with a Windows, Unix-like/Linux computer, via KDE environment, to replace keyboard/mouse with voice requests. [2] Simon is among the KDE Gear applications group. [3]

Features

Simon can be used to interact [4] with a computer by using voice'users instead [5] of traditional keyboard an mouse. It support several tongues and languages, Simon uses the KDE libraries, [6] CMU SPHINX and Julius [7] coupled with the HTK [8] and runs on Windows, Unix and Linux. [9]
