"Sleepless" is a song by the band King Crimson from their 1984 album Three of a Perfect Pair . The song was released as a single in March 1984 and mixed for radio by Bob Clearmountain. [1] [5] The track is best known for its opening bass-line which features Tony Levin slapping on the strings to create a pulsating beat, and for the music video in which all four members of the band appeared.
