Southfield is a village located at the junction of Norfolk and East Hill Roads within the town of New Marlborough in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, United States. It is also a post office location for the surrounding area, with ZIP Code 01259.

Southfield was named in 1775 for its location in the southwestern portion of the state.
The Southfield Pavilion is a convention center in Southfield, Michigan. It was built in 1978. The pavilion features 28,152 square feet (2,615 m2) of space and can seat up to 2,000 for banquets, lectures and other special events. Adjacent are seven meeting rooms seating up to 250.

It includes the Westin Southfield Detroit Hotel, restaurants, a fitness center, and a major conference center for up to 1,000 attendees. This office-hotel complex is situated along Town Center Drive off M-10, across from Lawrence Technological University in Metro Detroit, with many of its tallest buildings named after their addresses along the road. Separately, there is a 33-story luxury residential high-rise at 5000 Town Center. The American Center, another 26-story office tower near the confluence of Interstate 696 (I-696) and M-10, is not part of the complex.

The Umpachene River is an 8.3-mile-long (13.4 km) tributary of the Housatonic River in New Marlborough, Massachusetts. Issuing from small ponds and wetlands on the east side of town, it meanders generally westward through mostly wooded areas before emptying into the Konkapot River near the village of Southfield.

Hoosac Valley High School is a public institution of secondary education located in Cheshire, Massachusetts, United States. It primarily serves students residing in the towns of Adams, Cheshire, and Savoy. Hoosac Valley, abbreviated HVHS, hosts grades 4 through 12. It, along with Hoosac Valley Elementary School comprise the Hoosac Valley Regional School District. The 7th and 8th graders of the HVRSD attend classes at Hoosac Valley High School, though they may not take part in many high school sports unless there is a shortage of players, and their section of the school is known as Hoosac Valley Middle School and the younger children stay, for the most part, separated from the older ones throughout the duration of the school day.

The Snow Hole is located in the Taconic Mountains, New York, USA along the ridge line between Bald Mountain and the White Rock. It is a crevasse in which snow can be found well into the summer. The Snow Hole can be accessed by hiking the Taconic Crest Trail about 2.75 miles north from the Petersburgh Pass parking area just off of Route 2. The Snow Hole is located at 42°45.538′N73°16.840′W. Finding the location of the Snow Hole can be confusing, as several maps mark the location of the Snow Hole summit at 42.743671°N 73.275118°W. However, that is a separate mountain summit and not the actual Snow Hole. The posted hiking map at the kiosk to the Taconic Crest Trail at Petersburgh Pass has the location correctly identified. Typically the crevasse has snow at the bottom of it year round.

The Poesten Kill is a 26.2-mile-long (42.2 km) creek in Rensselaer County, Upstate New York. It flows westerly from its source at Dyken Pond in the town of Berlin to its mouth at the Hudson River in the city of Troy. The creek was used historically as a source of water for the local inhabitants and farmers. During the Industrial Revolution, it became an important source of water power, and many mills and factories sprung up along its banks.
