Steady is the first Korean extended play and first overall by Japanese boy group NCT Wish,the Japanese-based unit of boy group NCT. It was released on September 24,2024,through SM Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment. The EP comprises seven tracks,including two singles;"Dunk Shot" and the title track of the same name.
On August 27,2024,SM Entertainment confirmed that NCT Wish will release new music at the end of September and are in the final stages of preparations. [1] On September 2,the EP Steady was announced to be released on September 24,which will contain seven tracks,including the Korean version of their 2023 single "Hands Up". The album release will also be preceded by the lead single "Dunk Shot" on September 9. [2] A music video for the track "3 Minutes" was released on September 16. [3] The album was released on September 24,concurrently with the second single and title track "Steady". [4]
In the lead up to the album's release,the group performed "Dunk Shot" on three South Korean music programs:Mnet's M Countdown on September 12, [5] KBS's Music Bank on September 13, [6] and MBC's Show! Music Core on September 14. [7] Upon release,the group held a media showcase at Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Yongsan District,Seoul. [8]
On September 23,prior to the album's release,it was reported that Steady had exceeded 800,000 pre-orders,surpassing the group's previous record of 630,000 pre-orders for Songbird . [9]

SM Entertainment (Korean: SM엔터테인먼트) is a South Korean entertainment company established in 1995 by Lee Soo-man. It is currently one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea. The company operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house.
NCT Dream is the third sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, formed by SM Entertainment in 2016. They were initially intended to be the teenaged unit of NCT with an admission-and-graduation system, in which members would leave after reaching age of majority, prior to re-branding in 2020. The sub-unit debuted on August 25, 2016, with the single "Chewing Gum" and a lineup of seven members—Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung—whose average age was 15.6 years old. In late 2018, the group's leader, Mark, graduated from NCT Dream but returned in 2020 when the group began promoting as a fixed seven-member group.
Reload is the fourth extended play (EP) by South Korean boy band NCT Dream, the third sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT. It was released on April 29, 2020, by SM Entertainment and distributed by Dreamus. It marked the group's last record as a six-member unit following the termination of the age-based graduation system that was operated in the group. The album contains five songs including the lead single "Ridin'". Musically, the album incorporates several genres including trap, pop, hip hop, R&B and EDM.
