Sudeepa in 2013

Sudeepa is an Indian actor and director who primarily works as leading actor role in the Kannada film industry. He has also worked in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films. He is also popularly known as Kicha Sudeepa. Sudeep made his debut in Thayavva (1997). In 2000 he starred in Sparsha, which gave him breakthrough.

Kiccha Huccha is a 2010 Indian Kannada-language romantic action drama film starring Sudeep, Ramya and Srinath. It is directed by Chi. Guru Dutt and produced by K Manju. The film was released on 15 October 2010. It is a remake of the Tamil film Chithiram Pesuthadi. The film was later dubbed in Telugu as Kiccha in 2012.

<i>Bigg Boss Kannada</i> Indian reality television series

Bigg Boss Kannada (BBK) is the Kannada version of the reality TV show Bigg Boss which is broadcast in India through Colors Kannada Channel. The show is produced by Endemol Shine India, who owns the global format of Big Brother. Kiccha Sudeepa was hired to host the reality show in 2013 for the first season on ETV Kannada (now Colors Kannada). Later, he continued as a host of the show.

Maanikya is a 2014 Indian Kannada-language action drama film directed by Sudeepa featuring himself, V. Ravichandran, Ranya Rao, Ramya Krishna, Varalaxmi Sharathkumar and P. Ravi Shankar in the lead roles. The film is a remake of 2013 Telugu film Mirchi. It was released on 1 May 2014. Upon its release, Maanikya got an excellent response from the critics and audience and had a good run at the box office. The satellite rights of the movie was sold for a huge amount. The film was later dubbed into Hindi under the same name by RKD Studios in 2015.

Pailwaan (transl. Wrestler) is a 2019 Indian Kannada-language sports-masala film written and directed by S. Krishna. The film is produced by Swapna Krishna under the banner RRR Motion Pictures and bankrolled by Zee Studios. It stars Sudeepa, Sunil Shetty and Aakanksha Singh in the lead roles, while Kabir Duhan Singh, Sushant Singh, Avinash, and Sharath Lohitashwa play supporting roles. Pailwan marks Sunil Shetty's debut in Kannada cinema. The score and soundtrack of the film was composed by Arjun Janya. The film follows the journey of an orphan who goes on to become a wrestler and a boxer while getting into brawls with those who disrupt his personal life.

<i>Kotigobba 3</i> 2021 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film

Kotigobba 3 is a 2021 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film directed by Shiva Karthik. The film features Sudeepa in a dual role, who also wrote the film's script along with Shiva Karthik and T. Sivakumar. The film also features Aftab Shivdasani, Madonna Sebastian, Nawab Shah, Shraddha Das, Abhirami, Tarak Ponnappa and P. Ravi Shankar in prominent roles. It is a sequel to the 2016 film Kotigobba 2, with Sudeepa, Prakash Raj and Ravi Shankar reprising their roles from the previous film.

<i>Bigg Boss Kannada</i> season 7 Indian reality television series

The seventh season of the Kannada-language version of Indian reality television series Bigg Boss premiered on 13 October 2019. Sudeep returned as the host of the show for the seventh time. Based on votes given by viewers, Shine Shetty was the season winner. He was awarded a cash prize of 50 lakhs with an additional 11 lakh from other various sponsors, with a Tata Altroz car, for the first time in Bigg Boss Kannada history.

Vikrant Rona is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film written and directed by Anup Bhandari, produced by Jack Manjunath and co-produced by Alankar Pandian. It stars Sudeepa in the title role with Milana Nagaraj, Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, and Jacqueline Fernandez. The story revolves around Inspector Vikrant Rona, who arrives at a remote village in the middle of a tropical rainforest where he starts witnessing a series of unexplainable events which are attributed to the supernatural.

Bigg Boss OTT is a spin-off Indian Kannada-language reality digital series of the show Bigg Boss that airs exclusively on Viacom 18's streaming service platform Voot. The digital edition hosted by Sudeep and the show premiered its first season on 6 August 2022.

Kabzaa (transl. Possession/Conquest) is a 2023 Indian Kannada-language period action film written and directed by R. Chandru. The film features an ensemble cast of Upendra, Shiva Rajkumar, Kiccha Sudeepa, Shriya Saran, Sudha, Murali Sharma, Nawab Sah, Suneel Puranik, John Kokken, Dev Gill, Kabir Duhan Singh, Danish Akhtar Saifi, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Lakki Lakshman and Posani Krishna Murali. In the film, Arkeshwara, an air force officer, enters the underworld due to unavoidable circumststances and revolves around his life between 1942 and 1986.

Max is an upcoming Indian Kannada-language action thriller film directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa and produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu under V Creations. The film stars an ensemble cast of Sudeepa, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle and Anirudh Bhat. The music was composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Shekar Chandra and S. R. Ganesh Baabu respectively.
