C/o Footpath (or Care of Footpath) is a 2009 Indian Kannada-language film directed by Master Kishan, who also stars in the film. [1] [2] It is first film produced by the Kiran Movie Makers of Bangalore, India. It was directed by the world's then-youngest film director, Guinness Record Holder Kishan Shrikanth. [1] Shrikanth has since been surpassed as the world's youngest director by Saugat Bista, the 7-year-old director of Love You Baba.

C/o Footpath had a budget of 20 million rupees (about $450,000). [1] The shoot lasted for 55 days, over a period of 5–6 months. [3] Filming took place in Mumbai. [3] The film was released in 2006 with a running time of 135 minutes. [2] It received the Best Children's Film Award at the 54th National Film Awards. [4]

It was dubbed into other Indian languages including Hindi, Oriya, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil (as Sadhanai) [5] [1] as well as English. A sequel released in 2015.

Synopsis

An orphan slum boy is adopted by an old lady who finds him on a footpath. He lives with her in the slums, where he makes a living picking up rags. Some school students call him an uneducated brute, which gives him the impetus to get educated. The story tells how he battles the odds of his circumstances to get an education.

<i>Hulchul</i> (2004 film) 2004 Indian film

Hulchul (transl. Commotion) is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Priyadarshan. It is a remake of the 1991 Malayalam film Godfather. <i>Care of Footpath 2</i> 2015 film

Care of Footpath 2 is a 2015 Indian bi-lingual drama film directed by Kishan Shrikanth and produced by Devaraj Pande. In addition to direction, Kishan has composed music, enacted and edited the film. The film is a sequel to Kishan's Care of Footpath (2006) which won him many laurels. The film stars Avika Gor, Deepp Pathak, Esha Deol, Dingri Naresh and Karthik Jayaram in the main roles. The film also features special performances from Bollywood personalities such as Shafiq Syed of Salaam Bombay! fame and director Anees Bazmee. The film examines the Indian legal system through the trial of four juveniles who hatch a plan to kill a corrupt police officer.

Love You Baba is a 2014 Nepali film directed by Saugat Bista. Released on December 12, 2014, the film was unsuccessful at the box office but garnered two awards at the National Film Awards (Nepal). Actress Sangam Bista received "Best Child Artist" and Bista received the "Appreciation for youngest director" award.

Teenage is a 2013 Indian Kannada-language film directed by Srikanth H R, starring Kishan Shrikanth, Priya Bharath Khanna, Tanvi Ganesh Lonkar and Apoorva Arora. The film released on 26 July 2013 along with Loosegalu.
