Sweden will compete at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, from 6 to 22 February 2026, and it will be the nation's 25th appearance at the Olympic Winter Games.

Alpine skiing

Sweden has so far qualified one female and one male alpine skier through the basic quota. [1] [2]

Biathlon

Sweden has qualified six female and six male biathletes through the 2024–25 Biathlon World Cup score. [3] [4] The first biathletes to be selected were Martin Ponsiluoma, Sebastian Samuelsson, Elvira Öberg and Hanna Öberg. [5]

Cross-country skiing

Sweden has qualified one female and one male cross-country skier through the basic quota so far. [6] [7] Following the completion of the 2024–25 FIS Cross-Country World Cup, Sweden has qualified further seven female and six male athletes. [8] The first cross-country skiiers to be selected were Ebba Andersson, Edvin Anger, Frida Karlsson, William Poromaa and Jonna Sundling. [5]

Sweden has qualified a women's team by earning enough points in the last two World Curling Championships. Team Anna Hasselborg was selected in May 2025. [5]

Mixed doubles tournament

Sweden has qualified a mixed doubles team by earning enough points in the last two World Curling Championships. Siblings Isabella Wranå and Rasmus Wranå were selected in May 2025. [5]

Figure skating

In the 2025 World Figure Skating Championships in Boston, the United States, Sweden secured one quota in the men's singles. [9]
