Swoop is the mascot for the American professional football team the Philadelphia Eagles. He is a Bald eagle wearing a sports jersey of the Philadelphia Eagles. [1]
Hatched in the quiet Eagles Forest of Neshaminy State Park, Swoop was a bald eagle with poor eyesight and strength, but a "strong and true" heart. [2] The bird gained a humanoid appearance and size after a Philadelphia Eagles fan gave him a jersey that increased his strength, and his vision grew to match his heart. [2] Hoping to help others, he became an overseer of the Eagles community. [2]
During the NFL regular season, Swoop regularly appears as an animated character in the weekly Eagles Kids' Club television show. During the Emmy-award-winning show's run from 2005-2010, the animated version of Swoop has been serving as a host of this show.
Swoop is best known for his stunts during the Philadelphia Eagles Football Games such as zip lining across Lincoln Financial Field parachuting into the stadium. He has been seen sporting a pink wig for breast cancer awareness. [3]
Swoop made a cameo appearance in an NFL Shop commercial where a thief disguised as a kangaroo mascot tried to steal Philadelphia Eagles jerseys from the locker room after a game. Swoop walks into the locker room and the kangaroo tries to escape, but the security guards catch it. Swoop also made a cameo appearance in the 1994 comedy film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective , where Ventura beats the mascot after the latter shooed away an albino pigeon. [4]

In sports broadcasting, a sports commentator provides a real-time live commentary of a game or event, traditionally delivered in the present tense. Radio was the first medium for sports broadcasts, where the radio commentators had to describe the action in detail because the listeners could not see it for themselves. In the case of televised sports coverage, commentators are presented as a voiceover, with images of the contest shown on viewers' screens and sounds of the action and spectators heard in the background. Television commentators are rarely shown on screen during an event, though some networks choose to feature their announcers on camera either before or after the contest or briefly during breaks in the action.
Jaxson de Ville is the mascot of the Jacksonville Jaguars, a National Football League (NFL) football franchise. His name is spelled "Jaxson" because Jacksonville, Florida, is often shortened to "Jax." He is an anthropomorphic jaguar and is yellow with teal patches. He wears sunglasses, a Jaguars jersey, long shorts, and black and teal sneakers. The back of his jersey is typical: it reads "Jaxson" with his number, 00, but the front has a paw print. On certain occasions he wears other outfits, such as a large military field uniform when he was brought onto the field in a military jeep. However, he finds other creative ways to enter the stadium: using a zip wire to bungee jump off the stadium lights or sliding down a rope from the scoreboard. He is rarely seen without his motorized scooter and can sometimes be seen driving a golf cart. After Jaguar wins, he jumps into the pool at EverBank Stadium.
