Type species: Symphleps atomosalis Warren, 1897 [2]
Some species of this genus are:
Acronicta is a genus of noctuid moths containing about 150 species distributed mainly in the temperate Holarctic, with some in adjacent subtropical regions. The genus was erected by Carl Linnaeus in his 1758 10th edition of Systema Naturae. Caterpillars of most Acronicta species are unmistakable, with brightly colored hairy spikes, and often feed quite visibly on common foliate trees. The hairy spikes may contain poison, which cause itchy, painful, swollen rash in humans on contact. The larva of the smeared dagger moth is unusually hairy even for this genus. Acronicta species are generally known as dagger moths, as most have one or more black dagger-shaped markings on their forewing uppersides. But some species have a conspicuous dark ring marking instead.
Eristena is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae.
Paracymoriza is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae.
Abraxas, the magpie moths, is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. It was first described by William Elford Leach in 1815.
Asthena is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae.
Cyclophora is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. Many species are referred to as mochas in reference to their colouration, primarily in Europe.
Epigynopteryx is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. The genus was described by Warren in 1895.
Eucyclodes is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. According to the Catalogue of Life as of March 2017, only E. buprestaria is included in the genus. Other species are categorized into Chloromachia.
Pamphlebia is a monotypic moth genus in the family Geometridae described by Warren in 1897. Its only species, Pamphlebia rubrolimbraria, was first described by Achille Guenée in 1857. It is found in Sri Lanka, Borneo, Indonesia, Taiwan and Australia.
Perizoma is a genus in the geometer moth family (Geometridae). It is the type genus of tribe Perizomini in subfamily Larentiinae. The tribe is considered monotypic by those who include the genera Gagitodes, Martania and Mesotype in Perizoma. Some other less closely related species formerly placed here are now elsewhere in the Larentiinae, e.g. in Entephria of the tribe Larentiini.
Polyacme is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. The genus was described by Warren in 1896. Both species are from Australia.
Pristostegania is a monotypic moth genus in the family Geometridae described by Warren in 1897. Its single species, Pristostegania trilineata, described by Frederic Moore in 1868, is found in Darjeeling, India.
Semiothisa is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. It was erected by Jacob Hübner in 1818.
Symmacra is a monotypic moth genus in the family Geometridae described by Warren in 1896. Its only species, Symmacra solidaria, was first described by Achille Guenée in 1858. It is found in Indo-Australian tropics of India, Sri Lanka, Borneo east to Fiji, Samoa and Australia.
Synchlora is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae erected by Achille Guenée in 1857. Adult Synchlora members often have leaf green wings, while larvae occasionally have the property of adorning themselves with pieces of plants in the pursuit of camouflage. The name of the genus comes from Greek, with "syn-" meaning "with", and "chlor" meaning "green".
Victoria is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae described by Warren in 1897. The species of this genus are found in Africa.
Xylinophylla is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae first described by Warren in 1898.
Zermizinga is a moth genus in the family Geometridae erected by Francis Walker in 1863. Species within this genus include Zermizinga sinuata, the lucerne looper or spider moth, which was described by Warren in 1897, as well as Zermizinga indocilisaria, which was described by Walker in 1863.
Anonychia is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae described by William Warren in 1893 with type species Anonychia grisea. The genus was described using Nadagara grisea described by Arthur Gardiner Butler and genus Onychia described by Jacob Hübner and two more species added by Frederic Moore i.e. Anonychia lativitta and Anonychia violacea along with his Anonychia rostrifera. The name Anonychia is slightly altered from original Onychia by Hübner and Moore.
Terina is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae erected by Francis Walker in 1854.
