The TCA Awards are awards presented by the Television Critics Association in recognition of excellence in television. There are eleven categories, which are presented every summer towards the end of the organization's summer press tour.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 and 2021 awards were presented online. [1] Due to the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes, the winners of the 2023 awards were presented via a press release by the TCA with no in-person ceremony. [2]

The Television Critics Association (TCA) is a group of approximately 200 United States and Canadian television critics, journalists and columnists who cover television programming for newspapers, magazines and web publications. The TCA accepts applications and selects members twice per year in March and September. Once selected, all members meet at The Langham Huntington hotel and spa in Pasadena, California in January for the winter press tour, and at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills in July for the summer press tour. Winter press tour usually covers network midseason replacements, programs from streaming services and cable series which start in January, while the summer tour covers the new fall season for broadcast, streaming, and cable programming.

The TCA Award for Outstanding New Program is an award given by the Television Critics Association.

The TCA Award for Program of the Year is an award given by the Television Critics Association. It was first presented in 1985 with British television serial The Jewel in the Crown being the first recipient of the award. The category includes both drama and comedy television series as well as limited series.

The TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy is an award given by the Television Critics Association.

The TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Drama is an award given by the Television Critics Association.

The TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Youth Programming is an award given by the Television Critics Association. Beginning with the 39th ceremony in 2023 the category was split into programming created for children under seven, awarded under "Children's Programming", and programs for older youths, awarded under "Family Programming".

The TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in News and Information is an award given by the Television Critics Association.

The 39th TCA Awards were presented on August 7, 2023. The nominees were announced by the Television Critics Association on June 30, 2023. This year, due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA/WGA strikes, the TCA canceled its in-person event. The winners were announced via press release by the TCA.
