The film stars Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta, with Sushma Seth, Reema Lagoo, Lillete Dubey, and Delnaaz Irani in supporting roles. In the film, Naina Catherine Kapur (Zinta) and Aman Mathur fall in love, but a secret prevents him from reciprocating his feelings and results in a plan to set Naina up with her best friend, Rohit Patel.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language musical romance film written and directed by Karan Johar and produced by his father Yash Johar under Dharma Productions. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherji, along with Salman Khan in an extended special appearance. It also features Sana Saeed in a supporting role. The plot combines two love triangles set years apart. The first half covers friends on a college campus, while the second tells the story of a widower's young daughter who tries to reunite her dad with his old best friend.

Yash Johar was an Indian film producer and the founder of Dharma Productions. His films featured lavish sets, were often set in "exotic" locations, and incorporated Indian traditions and family values. He was the father of Karan Johar, now a noted filmmaker himself.

Koffee with Karan is an Indian talk show hosted by filmmaker and television personality Karan Johar and produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital content division of Johar's production company Dharma Productions. It debuted on 19 November 2004, and has aired eight seasons over a span of eighteen years. Distributed by Disney Star, its first six seasons aired on Star World India (2004–2019). In 2022, Koffee with Karan moved to Disney+ Hotstar as a streaming exclusive under the service's content label and hub, Hotstar Specials; thereafter the succeeding seasons have aired on the platform. Also that year, Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment replaced Banijay's SOL India as the show's production company. It is the second longest-running talk show after Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan on Indian Hindi-language television, as well as one of the most-watched Indian English-language television shows. My Name Is Khan is a 2010 social drama film directed by Karan Johar and co-written by Shibani Bathija and Niranjan Iyengar. The film narrates a fictional story where Rizwan Khan (Khan), an autistic Muslim, sets out on a journey across the United States to meet the President after Mandira Rathod Khan (Kajol), his Hindu wife, suffers from Islamophobic discrimination after the September 11 attacks.

Juliet Blake is a British-American film, television and web producer. She is Head of Television for TED Talks. Blake executive produced the TED Talks Live TV series for PBS and produces TED Talks India Nayi Soch a TV series on Star Plus in India produced in Hindi, hosted by Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. In June 2018 she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Savannah College of Art & Design.

Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is an Indian reality television series. The show focuses on the personal and professional lives of Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey and Seema Kiran Sajdeh, wives of Bollywood actors Samir Soni, Sanjay Kapoor, Chunky Pandey and Sohail Khan (divorced) respectively. The series debuted on 27 November 2020 on Netflix. A second season premiered on 2 September 2022.

Kavita Devi, alternatively Kavita Bundelkhandi, is an Indian journalist and news presenter. She is the editor-in-chief and co-founder of the grassroots feminist news network Khabar Lahariya. Devi was notably the first Dalit ("untouchable") to become a member of the Editor's Guild of India.
