Name

As a village subdivision, Tamoi Ujong is officially known in Malay as Kampung Tamoi Ujong (Kampung is sometimes spelt as Kampong), [3] which literally means 'Tamoi Ujong Village'.

Tamoi Ujong and the neighbouring Tamoi Tengah are often collectively known as Tamoi. [5] [6]
