Cracker is a British crime drama series produced by Granada Television for ITV, created and principally written by Jimmy McGovern. Set in Manchester, the series follows a criminal psychologist, Dr Edward "Fitz" Fitzgerald, played by Robbie Coltrane, who works with the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) to help them solve crimes.

The series, set entirely in the courtroom, features genuine members of the public as the jury, who give their verdict on each of the cases presented before them. Each episode features an entirely unique cast, with the exception of Susan Duerden, whose character, Heather Smart, appears in two of the four episodes. Danielle Cable: Eyewitness is a British television true crime drama film, based upon the murder of Stephen Cameron by Kenneth Noye in a road rage incident in 1996. The film was co-written for television by playwrights Kate Brooke and Terry Winsor, and was directed by Adrian Shergold. It was first broadcast on ITV on 14 April 2003. The film details the events following the killing, in which the sole witness to the murder, Cameron's fiancée Danielle Cable, is forced to change her identity and go into hiding after giving evidence which helped convict Noye in court.
