The Amazing Spider-Man & Silk: The Spider(fly) Effect is a comic book series written by Robbie Thompson and drawn by Tom Grummett and Todd Nauck as the first limited-run Silk series and a crossover series with The Amazing Spider-Man . Published by Marvel Unlimited as a eight-issue digital series as The Amazing Spider-Man & Silk: The Spider(fly) Effect Infinite Comic and republished by Marvel Comics as a four-issue limited series, the story revolves around former lovers Peter Parker and Cindy Moon, popularly known as the spider-heroes Spider-Man and Silk, as they are sent back in time to just before they got their spider-powers.

Announced in December 2016, a crossover miniseries between The Amazing Spider-Man and Silk , entitled Amazing Spider-Man & Silk: The Spider(fly) Effect Infinite Comic was published digitally to Marvel Unlimited as a eight-issue webcomic from January 20 to May 4, 2016, [8] before being republished physically by Marvel Comics from March 2 to June 29, 2016 as The Amazing Spider-Man & Silk: The Spider(fly) Effect, part of the All-New, All-Different Marvel branding. [9] [10] Written by Robbie Thompson and illustrated by Tom Grummett and Todd Nauck, the series follows former lovers Peter Parker and Cindy Moon, respectively the spider-heroes Spider-Man and Silk, as they are sent back in time to just before they got their spider-powers, letting bygones be bygones and setting out to stop a sinister threat to all of reality while also avoiding accidentally wiping out the very moment that gave them their abilities to begin with, with the help of Ben Parker.
