The Art of Elegance is the sixth album and fifth studio album of actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth.
In spring 2016, Chenoweth announced via Twitter that she was working on a new studio album, set to be released in spring 2017. The release date was pushed forwards though, and in mid-August, Chenoweth announced via social media that it would be released on September 23, 2016. [1] The following week she announced the title, and shortly afterwards released the cover photo. [2]
Chenoweth revealed that the recording would be covers of selections from the Great American Songbook, and released the first single, "The Very Thought of You" on August 19. [3] A second single, "Smile" was released on September 9.
This album also marks Chenoweth's second Great American Songbook-themed album. Her first was her 2001 debut album Let Yourself Go , which featured mostly classic songs from the 1940s.

Vanessa Lee Carlton is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. Her debut album, Be Not Nobody (2002), released by A&M Records, received a platinum certification in the United States, and her debut single "A Thousand Miles" spent 41 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned three Grammy nominations. The album also spawned the singles "Ordinary Day" and "Pretty Baby". Her next album, Harmonium (2004) debuted at number 33 on the Billboard 200. The album marked a stalwart divergence from pressure from record label executives who wanted to influence the recording. After departing from A&M in 2005, Carlton released Heroes & Thieves in 2007. Despite minimal chart success, the album was a critical success, receiving praise from Metacritic, AllMusic, PopMatters, and USA Today.
Kristin Dawn Chenoweth is an American actress and singer, with credits in musical theatre, film, and television. In 1999, she won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance as Sally Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown on Broadway. In 2003, Chenoweth was nominated for a second Tony Award for originating the role of Glinda in the musical Wicked. Her television roles include Annabeth Schott in NBC's The West Wing and Olive Snook on the comedy drama Pushing Daisies, for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2009.

SafetySuit is an American rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, currently based in Nashville, Tennessee.
