The Gray House is an upcoming American historical television drama. Produced by Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman, the ensemble cast is led by Mary-Louise Parker, Amethyst Davis, Daisy Head and Ben Vereen.

Premise

Based on a true story, the series is about the secret work carried out by Union spies during the American Civil War. [2]

Production

The eight-part series has Morgan Freeman and Lori McCreary as producers through Revelations Entertainment alongside Kevin Costner via Territory Pictures and Big Dreams Entertainment from Republic Pictures. The project was first reported in September 2022. [3] Rod Lake, Howard Kaplan and Leslie Greif are also executive producers. [4] Directed by Roland Joffé, filming took place in Romania in June 2023 with a cast including Mary Louise Parker, Ben Vereen, Paul Anderson, Amethyst Davis, Daisy Head and Robert Knepper. [5]

The series was shown at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival on June 14, 2024. [6]

Yellowstone is an American neo-Western drama television series created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson that premiered on June 20, 2018, on Paramount Network. The series stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, and Gil Birmingham. The series follows the conflicts along the shared borders of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, a large cattle ranch, the Broken Rock Indian reservation, Yellowstone National Park, and land developers. The fifth season will be its last and is set to be followed by a sequel series titled The Madison. The first part of the fifth and final season premiered on November 13, 2022, with the second part scheduled to premiere on November 10, 2024.
